Floyd will take home 58.5 million dollars. It would be the all-time record surpassing Oscar take in the DLH/FMJ. http://edition.cnn.com/2010/SPORT/05/01/boxing.mayweather.mosley.hbo.vegas/
I could care less if he makes 60 million, he is not going to give me one penny. I just want to watch a good fight.
Schaefer sat in for a while on Dan Rafael's chat. This is what he had to say about PPV indications... _______________ Nick (South Dakota) Hey Richard, prediction on # of ppv buys? Dan Rafael (2:11 PM) He says that based on early indications from yesterday and today that they are on track to break thte 2 million mark. _______________ Schaefer also claimed that they sold 14,000 tickets in the opening 30 minutes for this fight, and that Hatton-Malignaggi sold 12,000 tickets months before the fight, when the actual attendance on fight night was below 10,000. So I'll understand if that's taken with a grain of salt. But I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this PPV actually does break 2 mill. There's seems to be a pretty crazy buzz for this particular fight.
if floyd hits 2 mil here...and wins....god help us all...because we may never see him fight pac....floyd will have even more power at the table this time around...and i dont think the arum, the snake, will enjoy being taken to the woodshed
:rofl@PEOPLEWHOTHINKSALESDONTMATTER if he breaks records for this sale then it's going to be harder to make a pac fight, as Mayweather will rightfully deserve much moar than an even split in the purse, but emmanuel's ego wouldn't be able to accept that floyd is the greater draw atsch
Even though last week they kept going on about how this fight will only sell around a mil, because mosley isn't a draw:good
Manny just ****ed up, him and Bob are going to get bent over in negotiations because No way in hell does Floyd do 50-50 if he sells over 2 million. Be prepared for 60-40 and USADA blood testing, and that will be considered a good deal for Manny.
