If he had beat guys like Morales, Barrera, Pacquiao it would look alot better than it does currently.

Its all ifs and buts though until we know for sure he will definetly NEVER fight again.

would of been constantly critisiced for not stepping up weight classes like all the true champions do.

Would of remained there beating the **** out of whoever came while the haters would of stepped back and said Floyd is overrated, he is to scared to step up and fight Gatti, Judah, Hatton, DLH.....
Floyd would not of been able to prove he can fight and win a title at 154.....

Had Floyd stayed at 130-135 his entire career he would of been seen as a fighter with great great skills and ability, who is clearly the best fighter at that weight, but lacks durability and is scared to step up and face the challenges that lie at 140-154.

Yes, he might have been criticized for not moving up in weight.....but that criticism would come from a bunch of idiots who think you much move up to prove greatness. In other words, only assholes on message boards. So who gives a **** about criticism like that. NO ONE.

I guess in some ways, Floyd moved up the weights required but failed to take the fights that would of secured his public image from so much hating....He didnt stay at the weights, or clear it out any real weight division above his natural weight. Took a fight, won the title, kept going up. Hanging at 140 longer, possibly unifying would of really been the sealer in his ATG status.

Basically after Floyds entire career, it all comes down to will he fight the winner of Margarito-Cotto, and will he win.

Mayweather beats Cotto, nothing he could of possibly done at 130-135 would compare as far as All Time status goes.

He does get overly criticized, which comes with the territory of being so good. But he also get fairly criticized as well. To his fanboy, it's all hating apparently.

i did not say i would critisize.....i said he would be critisized, and it is very true, Floyd will always get critisized if you go around saying your the best fighter ever, someone is going to disagree....

im not a floyd hater, i dont know where you got that impression...my last 3 display pictures of been Floyd pictures...Floyd has been my P4P no1 for years.....

And if you claim to be the best NOW or ever, you MUST back it up or face the consequences. Hand picking popular opponents does not make you the greatest ever.

Excatly, Mayweathers major issue has been his lack of actual quality opponents and not fighters that appear to be in the class he is.

Moving upto 140 and fighting Corley, Bruseles and Gatti followed up by a showdown with Sharmba Mitchell at 147 :think

Floyd had the skills to be much better than he is going to be remembered....but he has a chance with the Margo-Cotto winner to redeem himself for to many handpicked opponents.
