You can't give Pacquiao and othet fighters their props and take away props from Floyd imbecile. Floyd is undefeated for Christs sake
all floyd has to do is win, what if manny struggles with jmm, how would that change your perception of the fight :huh they say manny is on a decline and mayweather being older and coming off a long layoff should be on a decline as well.mayweather is dominating his sparring partners right now which are Kassim Ouma, Deandre Latimore, and Sechew Powell plus a few others mayweather did not mentioned. ouma is geting ****ed up in sparring i know, latimore is south paw with power at 154 he stoped spinks, woopy. sechew powell is a decent boxer at 154 as well. hmm those guys are ok all in all so i suspect mayweather to beat hose guys up, i wonder who the other guys are.
Better at what? Be specific. There are a lot of things other boxers can do better then Floyd. When it comes to adjustment, like I said there aren't many situations that I've seen where Floyd really had to make an adjustment. He's faster, quicker on his feet and with his hands then 99% of the guys he's faced. So if theres anybody who needs to make an adjustment it's not him. The only times I can really think of where he needed to adjust were against bigger guys like Castillo I and De La Hoya, and I didn't see any real adjustment in those fights. All he did against Hoya was wait for him to burn himself out. If he didn't, Hoya would have won the fight according to the judges.
Yeah who's better at making adjustments and man if you can't see the adjustments he makes, then that's just because you don't know what you are looking at and looking for. We've given you countless amount of examples in this thread and I've even given you a video showing him make an adjustment and you still deny it.
Either we have different definitions of adjustment or your just confusing it with being a slow starter. I see adjustment happening when things aren't going your way and adapting to the situation. Floyd's fights his fight 99% of the time. There have been some moments here and there where he looked a little more vulnerable like against Mosley and turned it around, but that doesn't make himself any more impressive than countless other boxers who've done the same thing in similar situations.
We have to remember that we never said that it was only Floyd who makes adjustments, b/c a good fighter and a good trainer will see what's going on and make adjustments in the corner. All I am saying is that Floyd is a tricky fighter and b/c of all the hate he garners ( some being justified lol!) people tend to overlook his boxing IQ in the ring, his skill set and talents, and his ability to win. Again when fighting Ricky hatton, many believed that hatton had the style to beat him ( I was one of those people) and what ended up happening; Maywather fought hatton at his own game which is called making adjustments to his opponents style of fighting. This is what differentiates great from good fighters.
Ok lets use the Ricky Hatton fight bc that's a perfect example. Floyd never had to make an adjustment in that fight, because he was never losing it. Floyd had the fight won from the opening bell. It's Hatton who never made the proper adjustment. Ask any hardcore Floyd fanboy around here and they'll tell you Hatton didnt win more then a round or two. So how would Floyd need to adjust in that situation? What you guys are talking about is Floyd's overall skill set and versatility as a fighter, in which case I would agree he's very skilled and he's got a versatile style overall. But he's not this ultimate adjuster you make him out to be. He's quicker, more athletic, and sharper ( and in some cases bigger), then almost every opponent he's faced. So what does he need to adjust to??
yeah I think are definitions are wrong. You think ad******ng is a big change to strategy or approach to a fight. ad******gpresent participle of adĀ·just (Verb) 1. Alter or move (something) slightly in order to achieve the desired fit, appearance, or result. This content is protected This is how I see it. Leonard made a big adjustment against Hearns. Floyd made a big adjustment against Carlos Hernandez when he broke his hand and had the other hand bruised. Marquez made a small adjustment against Diaz to block his left hook. Mayweather made a small adjustment against Mosley right hand
