To finally fight someone who is a threat. Not the Khan's, Guerrero's and Maidana's (whom he lost against in the first fight btw) of this world. Now there is only Pac, 6 years too late.

So by your logic is Khan a much more dangerous fighter than GGG? Khan will be probably Floyd's next opponent, if he wins on 2 May.

How many fighters has GGG fought at 154?

If Floyd were to fight and beat GGG now, he would get 0 credit. Golovkin has to beat someone of note at 154 before even thinking about calling out Floyd.

Who has Golovkin fought that is a threat? Mayweather has fought over 20 world champions, numerous top 10 contenders, and a few HOFers.

It's only logic, for certain posters here that pretends Golovkin to fight one or two weight classes above his one.

Actually, Floyd fighting GGG at 154 wouldn't even be above his weight class.

So, no problem at all, there. Logic and coherence.

Why doesn't Floyd just fight Kovalev or Klitschko instead by that stupid logic

SMH at all this bull**** about GGG not having earned that fight so far when a quick glance at floyd's recent opponents lists such names as Maidana, Guerrero and Ortiz.

Body punches would kill Floyd. GGG knocks him out early, within 3, 4 rounds.

GGG hasn't done **** to get a fight with Floyd and right now Floyd beats him at 154.

In terms of hype Mayweather-GGG would be hyped to hell, but unless he does something big afterward unifying vs
Brook for Undisputed WW Title, Cotto or Cotto/Canelo winner for the Lineal MW Title, Thurman, WBC/WBA/WBO JMW Unification with Andrade are all bigger fight's legacy wise.
