Wouldnt be hard to be fair, Mayweather ass whipped him from rd 5 up until the low blow in rd 10 or 11.

    it really doesnt...

pac and zab dont fight the same ONE BIT! NOT ONE BIT AT ALL!

plus i could just sit here like a dick head and be like

"floyd is bigger stronger & smarter than jmm who arguably beat pacman twice... therefor floyd beats pacman"

I think floyd was ready to go str8 away to pacman but then figured why not take the jmm fight.... its a really winable fight and floyd will collect money ... why not take it... pac will be there after the fight so long as floyd wins...

I dont think this is a tune up or a practice ... its more like a exhabition for floyd to get some money before he fights manny

Correct. Zab Judah is a counter puncher.

Zab Judah was able to land on Floyd picking him off coming in, thats not Pacs game and has never been his game. Pac is an offensive first fighter.

That's a really dangerous strategy. Floyd may be a mental midget sometimes with what he says, but as a strategist I think you may be selling him short. If you want my guess, Floyd probably realized that negotiating with Arum is going to be hellish. I doubt Floyd wants to sit at a negotiating table 4-5 months while Arum dicks around about PPV numbers, gate revenue and all that.

He took on a fight with JMM, partially because he wanted to steal some shine from the Pac-Hatton fight and partially because he needed to gain some leverage in a potential Pac mega clash.

In response to the thread question.....

I see a tactical boxing match with the odd exchange, but as soon as the exchanges get crazy, FMJ backs off & looks for sharp counters, Floyd will have Manny boxing him more than brawling & there wont be much in the rds.... this will be the case for about the first 8 rds, then FMJ gets his timing down & pulls away in rds 9, 10 & 11.
I see both guys coming out for a strong finish & having an even rd 12.

It will be Mayweather`s greater ability to adjust & figure his man out as the rds go on that will take this down the stretch I feel.

Mayweather close but clear UD :good

That doesn't tell a damn thing about anything:lol:. This is YOUR "Pac does everything better than Judah" theory that you think works. I remember saying a while back that Floyd will jab Pac like Morales did, and you said, "Oh, now Floyd is going to use the Morales jab recipe for success" and you tried to dis me lol...

exactly.... thats my whole point... i dont see why every gets so hyped up off the zab fight like that is some major indicator of how mayweather & pacman will play out...

floyd never had to deal with that type of counter punching before and it was an issue early... when floyd took it away from zab it was a ****ing wrap...

what dinamita is saying is like

glen johnson is a 5'11 power puncher with decent speed & is orthodox
    there fore
roy jones jr will lose to jeff lacy who is a 5 '11 power puncher with decent speed who is also orthodox...

    **** is irrelevant ....

I'm not. I'm pretty sure I explained my point pretty clearly. Zab vs Floyd isn't an indictment on anything. It's just the last REAL time we saw Floyd against somebody with speed even CLOSE to his level.

definitely the last time floyd someone faced someone with world class speed... but its not to often that you get to fight a guy with world class speed.... they dont come around to often

Good point and hilariously enough, the same probably rings true for Pacquiao too.

can we even say if pacman has fought someone with "world class" speed? I'm not to keen on pacman's resume like that

Depends on how far shot you think guys like Barerra and Morales are. Even then you're probably stretching it.
