I'm cool. Sup wit u MAIN? Yeah...feel u. I can understand he trying to cash in, while there's still time for him. I'm just sayin' if he want to force a fight with either Floyd or Manny, he gon' have to drop that weight. They have the clout, and he don't. Now, if they want to seek him out, that's a different matter. In either situation, really, it will be on their terms. Personally, if he couldn't get down in weight comfortably, I would not want to see either of these fights anyway. I'm a fan of Martinez. But, he needs to be realistic about his chances at getting these fights. There's plenty of named talent 8 lbs north of him...beat some of those guys and, as you said, the money will come.
just chillin pimpin, puttin in that time, still grindin and yup, dude bout to b dummy old so of course he wants a pay day yup, i mean shame was down to go to 140 for a fight so i agree wit u and if serg tryin to have them lace up he goin have to go to 147 as well i'm still all for manny fighting him but at 150, but folks b gettin it twisted sayin manny should fight him since he got a 154 belt, beef i got with that is sure he got that whack belt but i mean tony had to weigh in at 150, tony wasn't weighin in at 154, if serg think he can get to 150 then i'd love to see manny take that, but point is, folks can't b comparing the fight with tony and serg, serg sayin lowest he can go is 154 (after he first said lowest was 156) but tony weighed in at 150
Martinez is in a tough spot because the Middleweight division is bereft of big names, but he's too small to move up to 168lbs, so he is stuck where he is fighting the Sturms and Pirogs of this world.
Yeah...147 or 150 ish, since they holding all the chips. But, honestly, if it's for any kind of championship, I'd prefer it be at the normal weight range for that division. Also, I know he can't make those weights, w/o killing himself, so I'd rather not see it at all. And for them to move up to his weight, puts them at a disadvantage. I want to see each at their, current, best weights, or not at all. But, that's just me. With Tony...yeah the belt was whack. Tony shouldn't have even been ranked that high at 154. I didn't care for the 150 lb mumbo jumbo, either. It was an exciting fight though. But, that was definitely an exhibition match. Pac did his thing and Tony was game. But, against a fighter like Sergio, it would've been a very different fight. Could've never been made though, since Serg claims to not be able to make that weight.
hear ya if manny and serg did fight at 150 and win, folks would say he's drained, so lose lose anyways
If Floyd would not fight shorty Pacman, how would he fight an even bigger and more dangerous boxer such as Martinez ?
NO. Pac went "I wanna piece of that Sergio" BEFORE he called Pac out and IMMEDIATELY AFTER Sergio KO'd Willimans. I would post a video, but you don't understand the local dialect anyway.
