Floyd fought as the smaller guy most his career and had no problems notching up the win. As was said before the 2nd Castillo fight, when Mayweather weighed significantly less than Castillo - that Floyd fights best at a disadvantage. If reports are right about Floyd wanting to take Pac up to 154, then I dont think he is overly concerned about Pacs power, more so his speed. It would be a tougher fight for Floyd, if he didnt have the reach advantage over Pac, thats for sure.
kill this non sense like pac is sooo small he started at 106 but he is not 106 now...he did not look small to me against cotto. the man is about the same bweight as floyd...stop trying to give pac a way out if he lose to floyd. weight is not an issue in this fight...kill that nonsense...he is shorter thats it
Guys, this shivering ******* deserves no real boxing response for his pathetic thread topic. The little man syndrome is dead to all boxing fans now. Both will weigh in over 140, and anything over 140, and below 147... (as Pac's fans have said) is a ww fight. This is the first of the many excuses that I expect that will be given by these rat ass PAc fans, and this rat ass walking contradiction TS is one of the worst *******s there is too lol... Coward as thread lol...
excuse has started. 106 pac was 16. floyd was 106 when he was 16. Floyd is naturally bigger, but is not like pac have trouble beating up bigger guys. If pac loses to may is bc floyd is better skill wise. Hell I doubt if floyd even hit as hard as pac.
I think the size issue b/w these two fighters is moot. They were fighting the same size fighters around the same age. No excuses, lets get it on.
If Manny had his current physical attributes as well as a height and reach advantage, is there any doubt that he'd blast Floyd out? The reason the fight is interesting is because he doesn't have hugely dominant physical gifts that would make the fight appear to be a blowout.
No. I changed my Oscar prediction after the weigh-in and the terrible condition that he was in, picked Hatton through bias and edged towards Cotto, though didn't pick him with any confidence. Since we are getting onto picks, didn't you say that Pacquiao would beat a prime Ike Quartey, ah yes, you did. Look at the way Cotto's jab gave Pacquiao problems when he used it. Now imagine that far more fequently and twice as sharp, quick and accurate, and you'll get the picture of what that fight would look like. But besides this, what does my supposéd fight-picks have to do with this thread? Stop making Pacquiao out to be this 'small' guy. He's built into a solid mid 140lb'er now. He's taken out a legit welterweight and fought at 147. The only thing that's going to matter in this fight is Floyd's superior ring IQ, his superior skill-set, his vastly superior defense and his superior counter-punching, not the size difference you'd like to think exists when Pacquiao gets beaten.
