Yes, he would have lost to Antonio Margarito and Paul Williams back when he was pretending to be retired.

Floyd announced he was coming back 2 weeks after Margarito got knocked out by Shane Mosley. What a coincidence!

Sergio Martinez said he would go down to 154 to fight Void, but Void refused. Martinez even offered to go all the way down to 150 at one time, but Void said no.......................Void would not go near Paul Williams, and is still running from Pac. Void only fights if he has a guaranteed win. He owns Vegas and can't lose a decision there period. Mosley had Void out on is feet, but then he suddenly stopped punching, why was that? Perhaps he was afraid to KO Void?

Winky Wright and Vernon Forrest at 154 pounds would have been the most difficult fights but lil Floyd would have won as he has a great boxing IQ and ring generalship.

I don't think anyone would have beaten Floyd tbh. He's just to fast and agile for anyone. Pac 10 is the only one that comes to mind.

Other then that it's no one.

I'm not at all sure winky is a winnable fight for Floyd. Maybe but it really is a tough fight. (I saw Winky training for Taylor- not THAT much bigger than Floyd, but still has a lot of physical advantages and a difficult style)

Winky was sparring a light heavy or cruiser weight pro who must have been 6'3'' or more and pushing him around with those heavy jabs. For not being a power puncher those jabs are ridiculously heavy when you see what they do up close. (of course Floyd would have made that guy look silly by evading him, but Winky is a pretty complete fighter minus one punch power)

How is it that everyone picks Paul over Floyd, Carlos Quintana outboxed Williams as did Lara, Paul didn't have big power and he would have been counter to death, **** probably would have looked like Mayweather vs Corrales...

And Margarito would have never laid a glove on Floyd, he's slow, defenseless and predictable...if Clottey made a close fight with him with two injured hands I don't think Floyd would have had much trouble..these guys were just good fighters and definitely beatable...

Paul fought a very dumb fight against Quintana but I agree he doesn't have the boxing iq. Margarito is like a big slow Castillo style: not hurt and putting on pressure. Pressure is what made floyd look bad at 130-135 at the end of his time there. His worst streak was j Chavez, c Hernandez, Castillo, Sosa? Where in every fight he looked uncomfortable ms the opponent imposed their style ( at least for a bit). Hatton did it too. Floyd does not hit as hard as Mosley and PAC who have mean intentions to really make pressure guys think twice. You have to hurt those guys quickly.

The Martinez vs Margarito fight happened in 2000. The Cintron fight was in 2009, I don't think Martinez was in his prime for the Margarito fight.

I would favour prime Martinez to beat prime Margarito.

Of course but my only point is real life fights are unpredictable even knowing what we know. Fighters have to fight. Assuming floyd beats everybody without fighting them is a farce.

And to be clear I don't think either PAC or floyd should have been expected to face Martinez. Too small, both of them, even if they won.

Are we really counting Margaritos wins as legit, even after he was caught with plaster in his gloves?

All I know is if you put plaster in my gloves i still won't hurt Martinez. So... I think that win is not as tainted as cotto one with his modern team. Lets use different examples then. Plenty of cases when superior fighters or a triangle of fights had illogical or inconclusive outcomes. It just rubs me the wrong way that Floyd is assumed to win every fantasy match ever when we could just as easily say clearly a guy like davey Moore would never even hit Benitez.
