If Floyd went to down 135 to fight Marquez would you still be mad?

The argument goes round in circles for a Mayweather fanboy.......when logic has they cornered, them mumble that its JMM who called Mayweather out, so he does'nt and should'nt have to come down for Marquez or anyone........

......fully ignoring and putting aside the logic that fightfans want to see a fair matchup in a situation and circumstance that is as fair as possible to both combatants.

The size difference between Marquez Floyd is smaller than the size different between Floyd-Cotto/Mosley

Why do you want him to fight those guys with such a disadvantage in size, yet complain when he fights Marquez, who is almost equal in size with him.

Man. Do some research on the subject. They didn't sweat it out because they could. They sweat it out because everyone can sweat out that much weight and more.

The human body is 62% water, you can cut a lot of weight by sweating and restricting intake.

    Dare to be great!
.......in giving up weight demands to a fighter supposedly still in his prime and who holds every physical advantage over him, JMM is attempting to do what has never crossed Mayweather's mind........
......"taking a gamble and daring himself to a stratosphere of greatness that would be unbelievable."

......you damn right, I'll make a stand for Juan Manuel Marquez!:good:bbb

If Floyd jr. had the balls or "dare to be great" attitude of Marquez, Mosley, or Pac, no one would hate on him.

What has never crossed in Floyd's mind? Floyd has won titles in 5 weight classes, and you say he has never dared to be great?

Exactly - the average human body.

The average human body does not belong to a person who is either deliberately holding his weight down or in the process of training down to meet a weight limit. However, that is exactly the position many fighters are in either while in training or just before a fight.

    :good

    That's one big truth imo.

Personally, I don't doubt Floyd's greatness, I just wish he would take more gambles when he had the ww belt. It would be good for him and good for the fans, win or lose.

I would like to see the fight at 135, or at least at 140.

Who gives a ****? So has DLH, in fact DLH has won title in 6 different weight classes but never beat a true elite near his prime......his defining fight came against a shot Fernando Vargas!

By picking and chosing who to fight and turning away the real competition for several years now, I'm suprised Mayweather has'nt gone past middleweight to concur divisions......

Get this weak bullcrap about multiple weight divisions out of here......in this day in age of 4 and 5 world champions per divisions, 2nd tier fighters now routinely win titles in multiple weight classes.

Even athletes who are in superb condition can cut 10-15lbs.

Training down to a weight limit? LMAO.

Fighters get down to their fighter shape, which is what most trainers would say peak condition.

At this peak condition they can cut 10-15lbs.

Philip Ndou against Floyd added 12lbs after the weight.

Eric Morales added 10 against Pacquiao, Pacquiao added 15lbs.

Peak condition fighters can still cut 10-15lbs.
