if floyd would be a lil more offensive and a lil less defensive

    and fight like he did at 130-140..he'd be a beast..he couldve stopped baldo and oscar but was to safety first..i understand he just wants to be careful but sometimes as a huge floyd fan i think if he'd lose he'd be a better fighter and stop worrying about losing so damn much......he can be twice the fighter he's shown us lately..and thats scary:good

    im hoping it was his hands that caused him to pot shot..and i pray the layoff has allowed him to rest his hands and we get to see lighting fast combo's like he use to throw

    I don't think that he could have stopped either one of those guys just won more decisivly. Baldo is just way too durable. If Forrest (who is a bigger puncher than Floyd) didn't dtop him after landing so many flush clean shots I don't see floyd doing it.

    Against Oscar he could have been a little more ballsy but getting too careless may have given Oscar a chance to land some more shots of his own.

    he couldve tko'd baldo not ko'd but definitly tko'd him..and he wobbled oscar twice on the ropes..i think he couldve tko'd him aswell

    He's got the Roy Jones Jr blues. At the higher weight he knows one punch can be the end of your '0' and he's protecting it. At the lower weights you can take more risks if you're a bigger guy.

    Yeah, I think he'd of knocked em out if he was a bit more aggressive. He fires such precise shots, but his hands weren't so good the last few years he fought. Hopefully, he can fight with 8 ounce gloves and not break his hands.

    Yeah, I remember a nice counter he landed off the ropes that buckled Oscar who when not weight drained, was nearly impossible to knock out, at least to the chin!

    people underated floyds power..but with good reason..i think he underates it him self..hes' twice the fighter he lets us see..the man can pop but moves to much so he doesnt sit on his punches..

    even a weight drained oscar didnt touch the canvas with pacman who was clocking his ass..but that shows what hell of a chin he has..the man is tough

    Considering all the guys Oscar fought, he had one of the best chins I've seen.

    even though it's not crowd friendly and we all like floyd to show more flair and aggression, the reason why he's a smart fighter is that he knows nobody is going to outbox him and he can afford to fight the way he does.

    thats a poor excuse against the likes of baldomir, for sure, though.

    he dares fighters to execute a fightplan that counter his skills and fightplan.

    If he opens it up, his opponents are going to get stopped! He's too fast and to precise. I like some of the fights where he really let his punches go. He's know for defence, but his offense is amazing when he shows it. Sometimes he needs to fight more like Uncle Roger did, and less like Sr. did.

    yea i cant doubt his brains..but sometimes you can be 2 smart..he was to smart in the oscar fight and damn near got robbed..

    thats true. but how close did ike quartey get to KO'ing oscar late in their fight? i can only guess that quartey was badly hurt himself because it's rare for a fighter to be in the position ike was and not go for it - especially late in a fight when you need a KO to win it.
