    You're missing the point.

Hatton weighed the same against Mayweather that he does at 140.

So how would de hydrating even further make him faster and strong?

Same outcome, Hatton just would have made Floyd work a little harder, faster, and better. Although maybe, just maybe Ricky would have landed a few more meaningful shots before getting KO'd.

These clowns act as if Hatton walks around at 140. He walks around at 190. Having to drop 7 less pounds in training would have been healthier and less stressful for him. He also carried 7 more pounds of muscle into the ring which increases power and punch resistance.

No, the only thing he did different was he didn't cut those 7 lbs of water weight.

    He didn't have extra muscle.

I agree with everything else though.

Hatton gets his ass kicked by Mayweather at any weight. he's just an inferior fighter.

Can't agree with that but, even assuming you're right, a fully hydrated Hatton vs. Floyd at 147 who dehydrates to the point of being bone dry would have given Hatton an advantage.

I personally think Floyd should be fighting at 154 now to prolong his career.

I disagree. He only weighed a reported 152 against Marquez like a week or so out from the fight, which is still small for WW.

Floyd doesn't dehydrate to the point of being bone dry. He only comes in a few pounds over the weight come fight night. His highest weight ever was 151 against Oscar. (which was at 154) Against Judah, he even came in at 146.

Only a clown like yourself would think Hatton was much better at 147 then he was at 140, what the hell did Hatton do at that weight besides getting his ass beat and almost KTFO by Collazo that made you think he was better at 147 ?

Yeah, Floyd would be a small jr. middle but with his speed, skills and ring IQ he'd still be head and shoulders above the rest. He'd also be fully hydrated. Floyd has fought most of his career weighing about 10 lbs less on fight night than his comp and he showed in the DLH fight that he has enough power to discourage at 154. I think age is going to start playing a factor at some point and better hydration will help his overall health and conditioning. More risky for sure but Floyd would be stronger.

    Ridiculous.

I agree he was unwatchable during certain fights, but not all.

    Agreed.

That was his weigh-in weight. I haven't found his fight night weights. Supposedly Floyd walks around at 154 and he stays in fighting shape. Floyd isn't losing fat in training.

You really think Hatton doesn't belong with FMW in the ring?
I did recall FMW is all about MONEY and doesn't care about legacy!
