Him being all about money has nothing to do with legacy or being in the ring with Hatton.

The whole point of what he said was, that Hatton skill wise, doesn't belong in the same ring as Mayweather because Mayweather is that far superior than him.

Hatton almost got KOed immediately after the Mayweather at 140. What's your point?

OK I just get tick-off by someone insulting a fighter or anybody that doesn't deserve it.

So I'm assuming you agree that Hatton was a shell of his former self when Pac got him?

If Hatton had some of his mates as referee as he did in early fights, he might have done ok.

Of course, the Hatton of Tszyu or JLC fights would had given Pac a much harder fight no doubt about it.

Mayweather is substantially better in essentially every measurable catagory used to evaluate boxers. He's faster, more accurate, has better defense, greater foot speed and quickness, better reflexs, "power" is realtive but Floyd KO'd Hatton and Hatton never really hurt PBF so I I'll give you a sympathy tie here, Floyd has a better work ethic and invests more time and energy into training and perfecting his craft...not even a debate. One edge I will give to Hatton is that his fans are better christmas carol converters than Floyd, I mean the "there's only 1 Rickey Hatton" song was priceless.

Floyd let his hands go more at 140lbs and the beating Hatton would have received would have been worse. He couldn't outmuscle Floyd, couldn't outfight Floyd, couldn't out think Floyd, and Floyd would have bloodied him to pieces. The fight is stopped earlier, or Hatton goes out on his back.

At least you aren't a hypocrite.

When people say that Hatton was "better" at 147, they mean he was stronger and in better health. You could make the argument that Hatton wasn't comfortable at 147 but you can't say he wasn't stronger or healthier.

Those bitching about the fight at 147 need to realize that Floyd was willing to kick both Cotto and Hatton's ass at 140 after the Gatti fight but neither fighter wanted to fight Floyd, Hatton admitted before Floyd moved up that he wasn't ready.

Again the only legit question here is, how a fight between Floyd and Shane/Oscar in 2000 goes. Floyd would've kicked Hattons's ass no matter what, same for Pac.

No one who blocks punches with thier face is gonna beat Pac, as for Floyd, the difference in skill and ability is too much to ignore, Hatton would get beat by both no matter what he did.

Not sure, Floyd probably would have been penalized heavily for the holdings...
