Crowd really does not get to Floyd the home crowd may put pressure on Hatton make him feel like he needs to do more get over anxious and TKO'd sooner. Floyd likes pressure and being antagonized it fuels him. Judah and Shane hurt him he responds. Hatton's crowd gets rowdy he hurts their guy

At 140 it would have been worse. PBF had more lateral movement and faster hands there.

so why did floyd demand the fight at 147 and not 140?

Because Hatton challenged him for his title and Floyd would of been going down 2 weight classes to fight Hatton if they went to 140.

Because he already offered a fight to Hatton at 140 back in 2005 when both were there but was turned down. PBF was now fighting at 154. Why would the P4P #1 fighter in the world move down? Hatton wanted what PBF had not the other way aound.:deal The fight could have been at 140 but Hatton declined blame Hatton.

He probably could have but he may have known those couple pounds could have cost him a little power and a little speed... Maybe just enough to let Marquez win a few rounds. He wanted to dominate a guy Pac had big problems with, so that could be it.. Not wanting to sacrifice any ability in the slightest, especially when he's never been a guy whose had to drain to make weight... So his body is always 100%..

I think the first few rounds were when Cortez did the most damage.. Hatton was very aggressive early and was bullying Floyd to the ropes and cortez wasn't letting that **** fly.. After a few rounds Hatton knew he had to change his stride or else let Cortez control the fight, just a bad ref for Hattons style... We've seen guys like Hop hold their whole career and receive very little attention from referees for it...

I just seeing it play out much differently having Floyd having to make 140 at that stage. He had also just been at 154, so weight had been no concern for the guy...

Floyd was at 154 for one fight only. The massive payday and starmaker fight with Hoya. There was never talk of him staying there.

if floyds best weight is 140 as so many of you say, you would have thought he would have wanted to fight hatton at his best weight.

it would have nothing to do with hatton looking like **** against collazo in the only fight that hatton had fought at 147 previously :think
