    You lack common sense ... The question was #1 contenders and ranked by WBO or the ring magazine. There aren't any ...

    If Judah was 5 when he fought Cotto and after 400 days of inactivity then what was he when he fought Floyd?

    Urkal was the only #1 ranked fighter that Cotto has fought ... Urkal was #1 ranked contender by the WBA and he was top 10 by the ring.

    Mosley wasn't Cotto's prize opponent ... Mosley and Judah are fighting in a crossroads fight. The only opponent that accomplished anything was Quintana - who beat a champion ...

    If you believe that Hatton is a champion then you're out of you mind. That belt was given to N'dou ... Paulie beat him, but he never beat a top 10 ranked opponent ....

    Why can't you get it though your head ... Floyd beat the champion of the division (Baldomir) ... its gets no better than that ... and no matter what you say about Baldomir ... he beat Judah fair and square and had a brief reign -

    Its okay to hate a fighter ... its ones personal opinion ... but don't discredit fighters --

    So for 6 years Floyd has been in fake fights?

    He's the WW champion yet he hasn't fought anyone ... and guys who aren't champion have been resume's than him.

    This reminds me of Juan Diaz and Joel Casamayor ... Juan Diaz was getting so much hype for racking up belts when all along Casamayor is the champion. Casamayor beat Corrales who was the champ ...

    When Juan Diaz lost it was like ... he was this and he was that ... man he wasn't the champion of 135 ... Casa is ...

    Just like this Cotto **** ... Cotto isn't a unified champion ... he fought for a vacant belt and he's the number 1 contender, just like Diaz was ...

    Floyd is the champion ...

    I'm and idiot an you're a ***** head - and your point is? Name calling behind a keyboard is weak and serves no real purpose here - but to the point. I posted to generate comment and opinion by drawing reference to the fact that Cotto's and Floyd's boxing campaigns are really not that dissimilar.

    Business and making money aside, fight fans deserve to see champions consistently taking on the mandated no. 1 opponents - not no.5's or 4's etc. I couldn't give a rat's arse about this guy's more popular than that guy (whose actually rated higher) so the more popular guy gets a title shot over the more eligible guy!! Floyd needs to step up or step off - Cotto too.

    Oh, and if you care to examine Cotto's resume with open eyes you'll see that he's clearly cherry picked a few too - this saturday springs to mind (no disrespect to gomez).
