ur a ****in joke buddy. at least we are fans, u are a fan of nothing, just a hater. u say we cling onto every word of his, yet u can be found in every single thread about floyd ranting the same bs. rather drink kool aid than pacs dirty ****.
Who the hell are you? A pacquiao straw man guy? If you can't handle the criticism, get off the forum. Notice I don't have 1 boxer I nut hug that you can offend me with? That's because I like boxing... not A BOXER. ****ing morons.
The OP is dwelling heavily on this testing thing. By demanding USADA testing (not "Floyd's Testing Method" as you put it, but the United States Anti-Doping Agency) Floyd is only doing a good thing for boxing. As a fighter, with regards to doping, all he has the power to do is demand USADA testing, and refuse to fight if the other fighter won't do it. Theres no way to spin it into a negative thing. Theres just no way. I'm one of the biggest Mayweather haters up on this board, and I gotta say, I can't fault the guy one tiny bit for making 100% sure that he is fighting someone who is clean every time he fights. The fact that he started this with Pacquiao bothered me a bit, made me think maybe he's scared to fight Pacquiao. But now Mosley, an admitted doper, has agreed to the USADA testing... has been tested several times for the fight.. and he hasn't complained a bit. Sorry, but it makes Pacquiao look flat out bad. Not only that, but Floyd is taking the same tests. It hurts me to say it, but Floyd Mayweather is being extremely smart. This WILL have a positive impact on the sport of boxing and how clean it is, he's leading by example. Even if the original purpose was to protect his "0." Do you expect Floyd to stage protests in front of all state's boxing commissions? Really, what the hell do you expect him to do to "clean up boxing" other than exactly what he is doing right now??
I'm not dwelling on the testing thing. Also, I haven't mentioned Pacquiao once, because I don't think this has anything to do with him. This is solely to do with his choice of opponent; a fighter they "know" used steroids/PEDs in the past. My thoughts were mainly centered around why he doesn't refuse to fight him, because of that past (alleged) steroid/PED use. Same reason if I were an MMA fighter, I'd refuse to fight Brock Lesnar. The guy got as big as he is through steroid/PED use (allegedly) and continues to use the results of those misdemeanors in the ring, even though he's clean now. I'd have thought, considering Floyd's stance on the issue, that he'd refuse to fight Shane for the same reasons. Thank you for trying to help me see it from another angle.
:deal This sums it up. I can't believe people forgot that this was all in response to what Pac has done recently. The Cotto fight in particular really concerned the entire Mayweather clan with the beating Pac put on Cotto. It's in Floyd's best interest to adopt the cleaning up the sport cause rather than look like he's that spooked by what Pac is capable of. Two fighters who are the biggest threats to him now are Mosley and Pac and it's in his best interest to make sure they're both clean. The only difference is that Mosley has documented ties to PED's and admitted use at one time. Pac on the other hand only has out of this world performances after moving up in weight. Then you add his ridiculous superstitions and his stupid promoter/management's contradictory excuses. If Pac ever tests dirty then Floyd looks like boxing's Sylvia Browne. If he is clean AND beats Floyd then he'll look like the king of all paranoid jackasses.
yep, because we all know the "oriental warrior" isnt being protected by freddie roach against shane mosley....oh wait!!!
You may not have mentioned him, but this has everything to do with Pacquiao. Thats where all this talk of USADA testing came about in the first place. Mayweather's decision to fight Mosley wasn't in spite of the fact that he's used PEDs, its BECAUSE he's known to have used PEDs. Of course Floyd needed a way to spin the situation away from "I want Pacquiao to look bad so I'm having Mosley tested by the USADA," in favor of "I'm cleaning up the sport of boxing." Selfish (and smart) business decision accidentally turned into a moral crusade! :deal
not to mention his boy fifty cent who is a known steroid user floyd is a jackass and come may 1st he is going to taste defeat at the hands of a former ped user :rofl how ironic.
Think about this. If you are Ellerbe, and the negotiations for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao have just fallen apart because Pacquiao will not agree to USADA testing... Now your goal is to come out looking like the good guy and not like the ******* who comes up with ridiculous demands as a way to duck Pacquiao. Which opponent do you fight (and test with USADA) next? Is it the opponent who has never been suspected of using PEDs? Or is it the opponent who has admitted PED use, and will still agree to whatever testing you want? Makes Floyd look like a genius and a saint at the same time. :yep
When you are old and grey your grand children my ask what people and events influenced your life! ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO TELL THEM IT WAS THE ****WIT MAYWEATHER FAMILY?
If you think/speak/act like him? I bet some of these idiots actually laugh at his jokes and think he is a great human being. I could see probably 5 guys in this forum who would name their kids floyd.
You have to on this forum. Half the posts are kids gobbling his peepee over everything he does. Look at the absurd **** being said on this forum. Absolutely ****ing ridiculous.
