In terms of history of the sport, not financially obviously...

    Agree or disagree?

Highly doubt it. He will finally get the credit he deserves.

No bc we'll get the fight we wanna watch regardless of the winner. In terms of history it cant get bigger in this era.

Because Pacman was a flyweight. There's no way Gayweather should lose to a former flyweight. But if Pacman wins, would be the sports phenomena of the last ten years!

Interesting thread title...interesting 2 sentences, and then this thread fell flat on it's face!

Explain your positions, man! Give reasons for why you think so!

Besides the excuses raining down from haters, saying Pacquiao was too small and the USADA was the cause of the loss, as well as him being weight drained and bloated at the same time. No.

Just like every other guy that the critics said Floyd should fight before he beat them, there will be a boatload of excuses the second they say and the winner is floyd. In fact I would go as far as to say the excuses will start the second that the fight would be signed. Just as it did with the Mosley fight. Before it was signed it was he would never fight Shane, once it was signed it was he was forced to fight, and Shane is old and shot.

Pac has a built in excuse, if the fight is signed and he loses they will simply say he was too small, some will still claim Pac a better figher no matter how bad he is beatten.

Bottom line is floyd isnt going to get credit until it appears that his career is closing down and he has lost a fight or two.
