    Can you imagine the incongruity of Foreman and Holmes fighting for the HW championship... in 1992?

    Wouldn’t that mean something wicked was coming his way? I’d say Bowe would brutalise him and then everything would be as it was.

    Well then the inescapable conclusion, would be that the top heavyweights of Foreman's era, were quite a bit better than the top heavyweights of Holyfield's era.

    If George Foreman had beaten Evander Holyfield for the title, he would have either defended it against Larry Holmes or a Paroled Mike Tyson, a mega fight.

    I think George would have seen Larry as being the less threatening. But Holmes quite likely would have decisioned him...the belt would have ended up Bowe's either way imo.
