If Frazier could beat Ali...why cant Tyson? Just sayn....

Ali would have this fight in the bag long before the opening bell. Tyson was an emotional midget, and Ali would **** him up long before fight night.

 

And the difference is Joe was a slugger who would'nt mind taking punches to land one. And for 15 rounds!!!

Mike was bully who yielded if the opponent fights back.

Ali takes this one ala Buster Douglas.

 

Because Frazier was a better heavyweight than Tyson. Not in terms of skills, but with his mental strength.

 

I think ali also destroys him mentally and uses his ring iq to win this fight. but stylewise tyson has a very good shot. He was as fast as ali with the upperbody, had fast hands good footwork, prime tyson had the defense that would make it difficult for Ali to land the jab, he could also get inside like frazier and had sick combo´s. Ali didnt go to the body as well.
So he would be trying to hit a smaller very fast moving target thats throwing boms at his body and head.
I give miek the edge in this match up but I very well could see Ali tying him up pushing his head down dancing away from him keeping him off with the jabb and right hand.
But to say ali will win for sure I have to disagree with that, prime mike has a very good chance. I also think ali´s ring iq increased after fotc. so prime ali wouldnt be as smart as the one george fought. If it was a mix of prime ali and 70´s ali ring iq and smarts it would be a even more hell of a match up.

 

Tyson was a bum, he never beat one great fighter in his life.

Mike pisses his pants the moment Ali steps into the ring. Ali wins by KO by or before round 10.

It's possible for Tyson to have beaten Ali, but I would put all my money on Ali in this "fantasy" matchup.
Ali's biggest asset wasn't his abilty to hit combo's from all angles, or making jokes to the public while holding his opponent... it was his amazing chin!
Tyson would have to KO ALi to win, and he probably wouldn't be able to do that.

 

Could very well, be but would you really count tyson out completely?

 

Of course Tyson could beat Ali. He wouldn't definitely win, but a prime Tyson could beat anyone in history.

 

More times out of 10, Ali wins, but Tyson could certainly beat Ali.

That's why I said it's possible for Tyson to beat him, but he would have to KO him and it's very hard to do that. I guess Tyson wins 1 out of 4 or 5 times.

 

Oki:thumbsup, I think I will leave it at this though this is one of the hardest match ups for me to figure out. I coudl see alot fo different scenario´s.
I also get the feeling people think that douglas exposed tyson instead of caught him off guard at a weak point in his life.
Tyson could also win a decision. I cant see Ali going down either, maybe down but not knocked out.
I can also see ali jsut dancing and winning a ud, destroying mike mentally.
Tyson had a great left hook, if frazier could catch him. tyson was faster and stronger.
Can we question prime tyson´s stamina, Ali himself thinks marciano would have given him hell, then tyson doing the same isnt that far fetched.
I think tyson woudl punish him for the early rounds, ali absorbs it like a spong, tyson gets slower during the fight ali takes over and wins a ud.
Something like that I think is very much possible.
Also is it a 12 round fight or 15, i would pick ali in 15.
So I dont know who wins this one it is to much possibilities to make a strong guess in my opinion.
