Yes... AA fights in spurts because of poor stamnia and conditioning. It helps him keep the KO-power throughout the entire 12 rounds though.
I think this is close to a 50/50 fight. If Froch would stop using his left hand to gaurd his glass knee cap, and keep it up where it belongs, I'd favor him to win. However, that low left hand, and telegraphing his jab, seem to be career long bad habits. I don't think he'll change that in one training camp.
He is right AA only manages about 10 punches a round, that wins him decisions in Germany but won't cut it any where else.:good If Froch win I won't be shocked because I been saying AA is hype job for years, he looked like a club fighter with Dirrell.:bbb
Well yeah I knew he'd retain his energy in early parts of the fight, so he can then take people in to deep waters at the end. But I didn't realize this was indeed because of poor stamina. I just assumed that's the way he likes to fight
Near the end of Abraham/Taylor JT looked fresher than AA; Jermain Taylor has better stamina than Arthur Abraham:yikes
I think that would be the recipe for losing the fight for Froch. If he tries to force a KO, let his hands hang low and lure AA into attacking him he will lose. Froch should fight a technical and defensive "sting and run" type of fight for a full 12 rounds, AA feels helpless in those situations and doesn't know what to do. In fact the more his handlers tell Froch he can't win on the scorecards and he has to get a KO no matter what to win this fight the more likely he is to lose the fight IMO.
I think Froch will be too busy for him in the early to mid rounds forcing AA to go toe to toe once behind on the cards. Then it's anyones fight!!
I came around to froch a bit... I still respect Abrahams power... I like Frochs heart.. just as long as he shuts the **** up on the microphone.
