If Froch beats Abraham, does he have the best resume in the SMW division?

No, but if he loses to Abraham, there's a strong case for him having the worst resume of a world-class fighter at SMW.

Frochs SMW resume is impressive with a faded R Reid, B Magee (now European champ), Pascal (WBC LHW champ) & Taylor. I dont count the Dirrell win as any more than beating an untested, undeserving fighter, but Dirrell was undefeated and now has a DQ win over a former MW champ with no big wins and no real SMW resume, so with that in mind, if Froch beats AA, id say he would still have the second best SMW resume overall to Kessler, due to Kesslers wins over Siaca, Mundine, Lucas, Beyer, Andrade (undefeated), Sartison, Haussler & Froch.
Not saying who is best but for resumes only id say it goes something like Kessler, Froch & then possibly Steiglitz and then Bute and then Ward for best SMW resumes

:huh would be interesting to see who you count as world class. Surely dirrell and AA have worse resumes, even if froch loses his nxt fight

No, cause Abraham would have beaten Froch and Dirrell had beaten Abraham and had a very close fight with Froch. Bute, Kessler and Ward would all have better resumes. Andrade would be the only other world class fighter with a worse resume than Froch.

Disagree entirely. AA was a great MW champ but hasn't done much at 168. Dirrell so far has only beaten Abraham, the rest of his wins have been against mediocre opponents.

Ward has Kessler under his belt, but is there any1 else of
note that he has beaten? Does 1 name propel some1s resume that much? Bute has had his opponents taken away from
him so his resume is padded at best.

If froch beats AA, he wud have added him to a resume that includes Taylor, Pascal and dirrell, as well as Reid who was getting older.

Froch already has the best resume by a bit and people hate his style and claim he is **** but wins over Pascal, Taylor Reid and Dirrel aswell as a close loss to Kessler prove his quality.

Well, I tend to regard resume as who is on your career list, not necessarily whether you beat them or not. So Holyfield imo has a great resume even though he has losses to Lewis, Ruiz, Moorer etc - he fought absolutely everyone out there.

However, if we're talking wins, I guess Froch has a good shout for best resume - maybe not for long though if people like Ward and Dirrell pick up similar wins over Abraham, Froch, each other etc.

But then again if someone goes out and manages to sign up and beat Bute then maybe they'd have the best ..

Dirrell was robbed. How was he undeserving? Steiglitz is a bum and hasn't fought anyone.

    resume-wise, i agree

his only losses are against the great Calzaghe and the next great Ward
He just beat Froch, has many more fights and wins than Froch
He was the co-favorite of the Super6. Froch has a narrow split-decision win over Dirrell w/ hometown advantage and a loss to Kessler in the Super6. Im not sure how this looks good vs Kessler's resume....

Does Taylor count? If so...I'd probably say he has a deeper resume than them all. I know the majority of his career has been at 160lbs...but if you look at the names on his resume, he has clearly been in with the greater opposition...win or lose.
