If Froch beats Abraham, does he have the best resume in the SMW division?

Make up your damn mind already, is having Froch at 4 just plain hate or just plain stupid?

Taylor has BEEN far past it, and beating him impresses me not (even back when he did), though I must admit Froch doing it in the dramatic fashion that he did was nothing to scoff at. Beating Pascal impresses me not, and beating Dirrell is something he downright did not deserve, though he still owns the "W" over Dirrell. Beating Abraham is something I simply don't see happening, but hypothetically, if he does....okay, I'll give you number 3 at best, over Bute, but certainly not over Ward or Kessler.

Clearly YES... Pacal, Taylor, Dirrell, top 7 talent.. 2 champs 1 future champ.. Fought and loss to a Champ Kessler.. In my book he has the best resume.. Can't knock him for not taking fights.. Im not really a fan of his but has my respect for taking on top opposition..

So why does ward have a better resume? Because he has a win over kessler? Is that all? People slag off calzaghe for not having a deep enough resume even fought and beat Kessler.

The fact remains that if he beats AA, he would have beat 2 ex world champions, one fighter who went on to claim a world title after, as well as Dirrell who many people believe will win a world title all in his last 5 fights! Yet ward still has a deeper resume, why?

I said no. Depends on what Ward does, and I still think Bute has a better resume (as I thought Froch was blown out by Dirrell, who was robbed, and I think Bute beat Andrade both times).

I wouldn't say a win of AA will automatically give Froch the better resumé but he'll have maintained a good level of conquered competition, for sure, if he does. That said, it is unlikely he can beat Abraham.

Reid ,Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham... yeah that would be the best resume in the super six without doubt for me.

To look at a resume is not an objective thing. If you look only at the W or L, Froch and Kessler would have the best resumes. If you look at how they did earn their W and L, it can be a different thing. Many Froch's wins are not convincing. Many of Kessler's wins are far away from now.

That explains why people can interprate differently the same data.

i'm no froch fan, he is a limited but gutsy fighter. if he beats AA, he has the best resume with kessler 2nd. anyone who thinks that ward or bute have a better resume is talking complete and utter shite.

That's my stance exactly! For me it's a toss up between Froch and Kessler. For me Froch has a little deeper resume, esp if he beats AA.

Bute and Ward have 1 good win each. That's all for the time being.
