Froch vs. Bute II happens and we have another good fight. Two close battles might produce the need for a third.

Or, there is the A beats B beats C who hasn't faced A scenario and 168 retains its buzz.

I know I know.A fit and healthy Pav would make the division more palatable.Just couldn't resist.:tong

If he beats the demons, and it's a tough ask,I'm still not convinced he's not best suited to 160 though.Has he had a meaningful victory at 168?:think
No sarcasm,I'm not one of those who goes and checks, more honest that way even if it does make me look like I know **** all about Pavlik, just can't remember off top of barnet.:huh

Pavlik will not be a dominant fighter at 168. He loses almost all the physical advantages he holds over MW's, and doesn't have the dimensions to his Boxing game to compensate.

Argh. Making my head work with the double negative, there. Not convinced he's not best suited for MW? Rustbelt actually... huh... well he says he's best suited for MW, even though it looks like he'll be fighting at 168 next and, maybe, come back down to 160 over time.

Not while Dawson, Cloud, and Campillo still at 175. A Froch-Pascal rematch might be interesting. Their first fight was a great fight. Froch always puts on a good show he might not win fights, but he may win the events.

Bute Froch 2. Dre Froch 2 for Frochs IBF should he somehow manage to beat Bute twice.

Bute, should he lose to Froch X2 must move to LHW. Ward and the Dirrels will secure the titles and run from Lucian to the ends of the earth. So Lucian can stick around beating guys like Pavlik, Rodriguez, and maybe get lucky and get a shot at the WBO title, but chances are best if he moved up to 175 and competed for the bigger prizes vs Pascal, BHOP, Cloud, Cleverly, and Dawson etc.
