If Froch Beats Johnson/Ward then Bute, does that make him greater than Calzaghe?

In terms of resume, yes. In terms of ability...

if he beats johnson and ward his resume is ALOT better then "super joe's" it is on level terms with calzaghe's now i feel, if he beat bute aswell then he would go down as the greatest ever fighter from these shores and be top 3 p4p

The first time I saw Froch I took an instant dislike to him but through the years he has made me a fan. Right now he is as good as Cal so if he beat the above then he has a case for being one of the best at his weight.

It depends on what the guys he beats go on to do.
Joe's win over Lacy isn't as good as first thought of at the time and his Hopkins win is now more appreciated.
H2H I'd have to say Joe beats him on points.

Fat joe could probably come back now and slap him silly for 12 rounds.

we will never know how good joe was because his greatest feats were against an old hopkins (who beacuse of age would always struggle against the output on a calzaghe type, allthough i thought hopkins won) and an untested lacy who joe may have ruined but we wont really know.
At this point i'd say froch has the better resume and if he beats johnson and ward he's eclipsed calzaghe by a chalk

If Froch wins the Super Six, that alone will be enough to surpass Calzaghe in regards to who he's beaten. So in my eyes, yes, that makes him greater.

Absolutely. That would be a hell of a resume of wins, major stuff.

Although I'm sure Joe will still try to make out his '0' is the final word.
