If Froch Beats Johnson/Ward then Bute, does that make him greater than Calzaghe?

No, I don't think so. Most people think, even those that are fans of Froch (myself included) and disappointed with what Joe didn't prove in the ring that he takes this by a wide UD. Froch may end having fought better fighters, with better wins but to me to be greater you have to be better than the man. I don't think he is and I don't think many other people do, if people in years to come ask you who the better boxer was, you'll say Joe even if you say but Froch had the better record afterwards.

    No.

Joe Calzaghe was by far a better fighter, and he could come out of retirement now and beat Carl Froch.

Carl Froch would not be able to beat Bernard Hopkins, or even the Chris Eubank that Joe Calzaghe faced.

Guys like Brewer, Mitchell, and Jeff Lacey where all better than Authur Abraham in my opinion.
