What should Kessler add to his arsenal to deal with Froch if Froch decides to fight dirty? (My personal take is that if Kessler has no answer he will surely loose. I don't think Froch mind going there if necessary.)

He won't need to fight dirty. Kessler isn't as mobile as Dirrell. Froch was frustrated that night against Dirrell. Kessler is very stiff and robotic and will be easier to hit. I see a stoppage victory for Froch or a points victory for Kessler. I don't see any other outcomes in this bout.

He should add an elbow to his lefthook and put Froch in his place. Whether he will do it or not is a different matter.

I think Kessler realized dirty figthing is a part of the game, and I'm confident he'll use it if nessesary, Froch is dead man walking!

If Froch over does it, the ref will likely protect the homeboy which is to be expected.

The way these two square up, I just can't see anything other than a hellacious tear-up on the cards. I hope the ref has been practising his counting.....

I'm curious as to wether Kessler has actually been able to add new aspects to his game. His training camp has been hermetically sealed and the only sparring footage that has been available has been sparring with Lolenga Mock... I know that he has sparred with Patrick Reinhard Nielsen and to foreign fighters I haven't been able to get the names of.

I foresee that A-Force enters the ring and beat up on Kessler, Froch and the ref thereafter proclaiming his intentions: to rule all the divisions!

I don't really understand the question since Froch isn't a dirty fighter.:huh As far as I'm aware he hasn't even had a point deducted let alone been DQ'd

Judging by his last fight, Kessler will just take it like a little *****.

I'll explain a little bit then. I think most here on ESB can agree that Froch is a good or even great FIGHTER. But also, that he is not a good and certainly not a great BOXER. Most people here seem to agree that Kessler is the better boxer. Given that Kessler shows up with heart and motivation and a strong will to win, one is tempted to argue that Kessler should win based on sheer boxing skills. Now, if it indeed plays out like that Froch will obviously have to adjust/change his normal game. Where should Froch go? Froch has seen Kessler loose twice to opponents that ruined Kessler's boxing by adding a sufficient mixture of some clinching, holding and elbows-headbutts-armbutts here and there. So, wouldn't it be a natural step for Froch to follow the blue print already there? I think so. That's why I thought it might be interesting to ask what Kessler needs to do to provide an answer. Kessler looked clueless against Calzaghe and Ward at times.

Froch won't resort to fighting dirty. He's just going to knock Kessler out.

Froch was dirty against Dirrell & Pascal but I'm sure he won't be that dirty against Kessler because they're fighting in Mikkel's backyard.

If Kessler has Froch hurt, froch will most likely do what he did here

Fair enough, I see where you're coming from. However, Froch is a big punching brawler, quite unlike Calzaghe and Ward, so I doubt he'll be looking to adopt Calzaghe and Ward tactics. he'll be too busy trying to knock out Kessler.
