I mean, Froch has to be ducking, right? After all, his track record is just... well, its probably the best in boxing, PERIOD.. but... he's ducking Bute.

why are u using money as a reason for not having this fight done, do you know someting i dont? i dont see this as a money issue...its more about risk assesment, and i have no issue with this, its a buisness after all, but when u accuse someone of beig under par and attacking or puting him down in the media...that's when not going thru with it becomes an excuse that i have trouble with...make up your mind...is he sub par to you or not. some time back froch' trash talk on bute was about hyping the eventual fight or i believed it was as some said. i dont know maybe its just me but when im in that situation i say put up or shut up. i just whant to see the best fights and i dont think its a money or venue issue.

 

So Bute should do what Hatton did and accept peanuts just to get the fight he wants?

You don't know the reason this fight hasn't been signed yet and neither do I.Difference is I'm prepared to accept it could be Froch OR Bute's fault.
You refuse to believe anything that doesn't paint Bute in a Messianic light.

I have no problem with him taking a tune up fight next, he's had the toughest schedule in world boxing over the last three years. Nobody is really crapping on Ward while he weighs up a fight with Magee, because Ward deserves a rest after winning the Super Six?

Newsflash idiots : Froch had the same if not a much tougher schedule than Ward, the same amount of fights and far more away from home. He also deserves a fight to re-build his confidence after losing the final.

 

sorry but i dont agrre. our post are similer but with a different point of view, and i did not claim like u did that if froch passes the first round...and so and so. we dont know what is the money deal but we do know he is willing to fight him in the uk (froch diserves this). u say your prepared to accept it might be bute or froch's fault but that not how it seams when i read your posts. u have a grudge against some of bute nutthuggers and i cant blame you they get on my nerves to, pls dont make me look like one of those. i want the best fights, i want bute to proove he is a top contender and i want fighter who have blasted him for what ever reason and then find another reason as not to face him, here are some examples...kessler comes to montreal to see bute magee, say he will face him anywhere at any time and has found some weaknesses in bute style. ward saying before s6 final that the winner needs or should face bute to proove who is who in the division and now the risk that froch might not happen because of ward droping his belt. im not caling no one a coward let me make that clear, u say its all about buisness and i agree with this as well. buisness dissions are made with pros and cons, do you agree? if by what all three of them are claming, that bute is not up to par and officialy said they would face him no problem... 1 their is a belt to be won, 2 because of all the supposed hype i believe the money will be in the bank, ppv will be great, fight can be made in canada or away..why should i not be frustrated that theas fights are not happening? try and see it from a bute fans point of view (not a nutthugger)

Have you considered also the possibility that negotiations could fail even without a specific fault assignment to Froch/Hearn or Bute/Interbox?!

Of course, it is pointless to continue this thread without fresh information updates. Anyway, the upper-case word in the title has been a very poor choice.

I'll just pop in here and say that Bute is a protected stay-at-home fighter who offers funny-money to elite fighters. He also has a weak chin and is getting bald.

 

Negotiations are going well. Bute has agreed to fight Froch in England. But Hearns needs to get Sky and/or Showtime to put up the money. The Bute camp are trying to get Showtime to show the fight too, but it seems they're both failing. And the Froch camp, it seems, is failing to get Sky to show the fight. In other words, Froch cannot pay Bute to come to England. This is the problem.

Let's hope that Showtime and/or Sky will agree to show the fight or that Froch will agree to take Bute's offer to come to fight in Canada, where Bute can fill a 20k stadium. Unfortunately, Froch is dependant on TV money in England because I doubt that he could draw more than 10k even against Bute in England.
