If Froch had been brave and wanted glory and recognition, he'd have fought Calzaghe

I remember reading on eastside boxing years ago that Froch wanted to fight Joe, but JC didn't want the fight.

Are you joking, Froch followed Calzaghe around calling him out for years.

*edit nevermind didn't look to see when this ridiculous bull**** was posted.

If Joe Calzaghe trained hard, even with his glass hands he could beat Carl now. Forget 6 years ago. His speed back then would have just been way too much for Froch to deal with.

You should listen to this guy.
He said Bute would destroy Froch without losing a round.

Come on Dec, I know you were around in those days.

I remember Calzaghe fans discussing "who's next" after the Kessler fight (and also as an alternate, as we remember that fight took FOREVER to put together), and all they'd say is it "better not be Carl Froch!!!".......or Dennis Inkin.

yeah it takes more then speed to beat the cobra. cuz when hes in your ass making it a ruff and tuff that slick **** is hard to pull off for over 12 rds.at some point you gone have to stand and bang and thats when the slick fighters have problems.they make it look easy out boxing froch for the 1st few rds but after that the **** gets ugly.

Exactly agree 100%, the comment I made was because some dude said Calzaghe could come out of retirement today and if he trained hard he would still be to fast for Froch. Like Calzaghe's speed alone would somehow be enough
