If Froch is dumped out of the super 6 can you see Froch v Calzaghe?

What are the chances? Not sure Joe makes 168 again maybe a catchweight? I honestly see this happening I think if Froch stays in might be to long for Calzaghe to wait but if the fight can be made for say January next year what you reckon?

Froch needs to stay in the Super 6. Abrahams is a huge winnable comeback for him.

Calzaghe is a definite loss where he'd be lucky to win 2 rounds.

Of course mate but think about it if Froch does loose very likely imo, where does Froch go from there? Calzaghe v Froch would be big news and would be maybe Sky Box Office maybe HBO and 50k people at the Millenium stadium, add to that Calzaghe would be super confident even though he has not fought for a long time, with Froch's recent results.

I do mate. I dont think his power has carried up to 168 too well and I think Froch will be on him from the opening bell. He doesn't start well at all and Froch will be onto that. He will hurt him early and no way Froch is gassing down the stretch is this fight. His career is on the line here and I fully expect him to destroy Abraham

Abrahams is a big fight that is winnable. Calzaghe is a completely unwinnable fight. Plus it would be damaging to his ego and his image. All that talk only to get beaten up.

The Abrahams fight could also lead to a rematch with Kessler or another big fight.

Froch is an exciting fighter. It's shocking he hasn't got a huge TV deal. Nevertheless, another exciting fight with Abrahams should only further his cause. I expect an exciting fight with AA.

If Froch boxes him smartly and walks him onto huge shots. I think he could go home with the W.

Interesting now that you mention it.

Before I couldn't see it happening if Froch went out of the super six. Calzaghe is probably already satisfied now that Froch lost to the guy he beat and if Froch lost again, Calzaghe probably wouldn't feel like he needed to prove anything.

Then again, if Froch loses to Abraham Calzaghe may think "easy payday, I get to shut him up and rub it in, let's do it"

    Froch lose - 50% chance
    Calzaghe return - 30% chance
Calzaghe v Froch - 10% chance (JC would win it easy, pepper him all night)

I feel it will either be a Froch decision or Abraham by a mid-late stoppage. And if Froch's mindset isn't right for the fight (say if losing his '0' has dented his confidence), then I would have to side with Abraham - who I still feel is one of the most explosive punchers in the world.

Looking forward to it though :good

Well I take all your points on board for sure, maybe Froch beats Abraham I honestly think it will depend on the venue which is a sad thing to say.

But Froch looses he has no where to go in reality, I mean the British networks covering boxing dont seem to be interested in him now or since he was world Champ, I honestly think Calzaghe is coming back, I think he misses the limelight and this fight would be massive pay day for both these guys who obviously hate each others guts!
