We'd have had two hours of live boxing by now.

    Just saying.

Its a fair point, I really can't fault boxnation for that reason.

Couldn't give a toss about the picture quality and the presenters are mostly good imo, they show full cards, that deserves praise.

Steve Bunce, Jim Rosenthal and John Rawling have done as much for boxing coverage is this country as anyone. In fact, they have done more than most.

Their punditry on BN is A1.

I love the relaxed nature of it all rather than the cliched bollocks we see on Sky.

For every good argument someone gives for Boxnation a Sky supporter/Boxnation hater comes back with a bad point............

    • "Boxnation have more shows" > "Yea, but it's quality mot quantity"
    • "I don't like the Boxnation presenters" > "Ok, Smith and Nelson are real smooth"
    • "Boxnation is only a tenner a month" > "But i't not in HD"
    The bloody list goes on................

It should not be a bloody competiton, if you like boxing you should want to get Boxnation, to say you won't because it's not in HD or because Frank is involved is rubbish!

I suppose you never watched boxing on Sky before HD came along? Or you never watched Naz, Calzaghe, Hatton etc when on Sky?!

People just seem to hate Boxnation for no good reason IMO.

Yes the show tonight on Sky will be a corker, it's a great bill, and the main event could be a FOTY contender; it will be glossy and professional, but then again it should be, I pay Sky alot of money and they have been doing this for twenty years now.

On balance though, would I have rather had the FULL card live from 19:00 and made it a full night of boxing with all the undercard fights in the correct order and lost the HD? Yes I would! I like HD, but people need to stop going on about it so much!

Did the Mayweather Cotto fight lose anything by being shown on Boxnation in standard def? No, not at all! The commentary on the other hand......................

Sky go for quality over quantity, BN just has **** loads of fights, half of them are kak.

    I like both.
