Lets try and answer the question as opposed to posting, 'there is no way Froch beats Kessler or Abrahams'.

I think people will have to give him his props. Assuming dirrell doesn't beat abrahams or people will just say Ward did Kessler and Dirrell did Abrahams.

If that happens, I think everybody would. Aslong as it's legit.

Of course, but I can't imagine Froch to beat AA in my wildest dreams :D If he manages to win the fight he'll get all the props he deserves.

I actually think AA's style will suit Froch better than Kessler.

Also size could be a big facter. The pace of the fight may be difficult for AA t handel.

Will, how can Froch beat a guy who knocks other guys into unconsciousness without having a good defense? I know he has the balls and he has the heart, but that won't be enough.

Size doesn't matter...AA is used to fight taller guys with a longer reach. Regarding the pace: Please be aware that none of AA's opponents were able to stick to their game plans (because they all had a lot of respect for what was coming back at them once they got hit).

I agree. Kessler is more active and boxes behind some solid up-right fundamentals. Good sharp jab, very good 1-2, he just combines straight punches with awareness, strength, power and a very good chin.

Abraham may sound like the same sort of package, he's not a bad boxer when he wants to be, but we've seen it all too scarely. He's also a lot smaller in height & reach.

I think if Froch controls the tempo of the fight, throws a lot of punches and doesn't gas, he can pull the upset. Styles make fights after all. But he has to keep his range, he needs to be using that long jab he used against Pascal and at stages in the Taylor fight, and bring the straight right hand behind it to try and break Abraham's guard.

He also needs to - if not keep his hands up - certainly be on his toes and ready to take a backwards and sideways step. Otherwise if he's in range with his hands down, he's going to get nailed by big right hands and left hooks and he'll probably end up on the canvas a few times.

this is huge imo. it is against kessler for the reasons you listed above but it is against abraham as well. you simply can't go at aa w/ your hands around your waist and no real lateral movement. also, i've seen him do it in the past but against dirrell he did it a lot...but he rocks his left twice before flicking out his jab. he can't do that against arthur...its almost asking arthur to sit behind that shell and time a response. keep your hands up control distance, he has a chance. don't do either and arthur will eventually catch his w/ something huge.

Hell no! Froch is the worst fighter I have ever seen! Pardon the outburst thats just my gut reaction. Of course you'll have to give him props if he wins but he still looks like it hurts when he fights.

He needs to keep the right hand cocked under his chin which he has manged to do in some of his fights. This means that he can lean with the shoulder taking the jabs on the shoulder and the glove.

I see him winning the fight against AA using his pace (Froch is amzingly conditioned) and also doing what no-one else has done and absolutely mauling him when he does that take a breather on the ropes crap that he does!

i agree he can win. he does need to concentrate on not doing a few things that he is prone to doing, but you are right that he is in amazing shape.
