No because Froch isn't going to win the super 6 ... I don't think Joe would come back for anyone who wins ... the public assumption is that Calzaghe would beat all 6 of them.

 

I'd much rather see Kessler win the Super 6 like he's supposed to, then lure Joe out of retirement and beat him in a rematch. :good

 

a rematch wouldn't matter he lost to a Joe Calzaghe not in his prime while Kessler was in his. what would it prove beating him while he's shot?

 

JOE would need a true mega fight with lots of money and world appeal

 

What's Bernard going to prove in beating a shot Roy? It's all about the legacy on paper, avenging that loss. :good

 

And the charismatic Kessler, with the exposure of the tournament and Showtime backing him 100%, especially if he dominates and/or stops all his opponents - would fit that bill perfectly. :good The fight would sell in Europe and in the U.S.

joe's still in shape because he's that kind of a person, he loves to be in shape, and he probably always will. people act like it's impossible to stay in shape if you aren't a professional athlete...

why the **** would joe EVER come back for froch? he knows he would utterly school him and so does everyone else with any sense. i would bet my house on calzaghe winning at least 10 out of 12 rounds against froch.

 

by the way, i want that minute of my life back.
