not really a good question. unless it is a complete ripoff for every win he get in the tournament then it would be stupid not to give the man credit. only win that i dont like on his record is the dirrell win which is very debatable but is a moot point. anyone who wins this tournament deserves loads of credit. all of the fighters are very capable including taylor who dropped out. beating any of these guys is a about as good as it gets at 168. they are the who's who of the division so you win this you basically have the division cleared out not withstanding Bute who is excellent in his own right.

 

i would say he is the best super middle in the world, but punishment he would take ....

If Froch wins the super 6 i will definetly give him credit. and im not a hater but i just dont like Carl Froch. hes wack to me. but, if he wins i cant deny hes a great boxer...

 

If Froch wins the Super Six, he will have earned the respect of the boxing world, mine included. That being said, I doubt he will acheive such a hard task. When he fought Pascal, it was pretty well matched, Taylor had a good advance on the cards before he went to sleep a little to early. With Dirrell, it was so close, but not impressive. I give Froch all the heart in the world, he also proven that he's a real tough man, that he never gives up. But at this tourney, we will have a clear view of his limits.

AA has way more ring experience and punches hard enough to KO anyone involved, AA, KO in about 8 rounds. Froch against Ward is even more in favor of Ward because of his speed and skills. Then Green, it should be a great fight between two B+ fighters and it could go either way, but it will not end by a decision. Kessler is for now a big question mark, he used to be the man at 168, but his long inactivity combined with managerial problems seems to caught him in his fight with Ward. Or maybe he's not the great Vicking Warrior after all.

That said, I want to see him fight the real top dog at SMW. Need a clue, he's not in the Super Six and he fights in my backyard....

 

Yea, I'll give him credit if he wins it, but I'm sure he won't. Too flawed. I gave him credit before, but now I'm taking it back. His last fight was terrible.

he's the less skillful of the bunch, but i really like his determination and confidence. Anyone who wins the Super 6 has to get respect. i still think AA is going to take it.

 

Froch could win the Super 6 then beat Chad Dawson and people would still be backpedaling and making excuses.

I have Froch ranked # 2 at MW for his victory over Jermain Taylor.
Froch #1 at SMW
And #2 at LHW for his victory over Jean Pascal.

 

Heck yes he'd get respect and I'm pretty sure if anyone didn't give him credit for it they would just be hating on him. I honestly don't see it happening, but if he somehow pulled it off he would become the epitome of an "ugly" fighter who just won in spite of his deficiencies, hard not to cheer for a guy like that.

 

FYI Froch and Pascal fought as SMW, not as LHW.

 

Froch has balls the size of church bells. I think he will beat Kessler, unless Kessler has improved. Doubt if Froch will have to use "Billy Goat" punch either.
