If Fury clearly beats Usyk and then goes on to defeat AJ he is this generations number 1 and should break top ten ATG status

The Ngannau fight was just a joke of a fight there was a lot of talk about it being an exhibition beforehand, he obviously wasn’t training or even taking it seriously a focused and prepared Fury would easily outbox and stop Francis

Imagine the Fury that fought Wlad, Wilder 2 or Whyte he would dismantle the MMA guy

After Fury beats Usyk and AJ he'll be the Golden GOAT, King of the universe second coming of Attila the Hun.
Of course he won't but he'll be the best of this era and competitive with the best of many other eras.
Fury is goofy but a talented guy.

If past-it Wlad counts as a good win then Holmes has to count to even that out.
And a win against AJ might count, but he'll lose like Mike lost to Lewis. See we can all do hypotheticals
But if Fury gets everything he wants for christmas he might be on a top 10 depending on what factors you're looking for, his reign has just been too sloppy-- and tell me when he hits double digits for defences.. He's too inactive.

Wlad was undefeated undisputed champion for 11 years before he was beat by Fury. Larry Holmes was 2 years inactive after suffering back to back losses. Not really the same. But you go ahead and do that. But also, if you want to talk about sloppy reigns... Look no further than muh "prime" Mike Tyson. Who's prime lasted for what? 2 years? If that.

I think there’s a lot more who are at it but until proven they get the pass, the Evan fields is a guilty verdict for me though as good as poppin hot.
I think the more guilty they are the worse the excuses.
Canelo with tainted beef, anyone who is at an elite level of any sport is all over their diet, not possible to eat tainted beef.
Fury is the worst though I mean the quantity of boar he had to eat and the regularity of it, not possible. He is the worst cheat in boxing history for me, I think he played the mental health card and was willing to bring the bbofc down with the court fees, rather than admit his guilt.
Connor Benn didn’t come up with the egg story. But he was being smart and said he was eating about the amount of eggs that were suggested would produce an adverse finding.
He has evidence that proves his innocence but he won’t show anyone, come on man.
It’s like you get cheated over and over, once when they get caught and then every time they tell the lie.
So if you are caught cheating and then you keep lying about it then I have no problem believing they cheated every time.
I don’t consider any fighter who has been caught cheating to be a all time great, if you down play a fighter for a controversial decision then you should consider every one of their fights as controversial because you have to assume if you will cheat once you will cheat again.
I think the biggest tell of how rife it is in boxing is that the punishments are so lenient, the boards of control know if they went too hard or tried to clean the sport up the reputation of boxing would be in tatters.
There are certain fighters who if they were ever caught cheating I would never watch boxing again, I mean if Crawford, Lomachenko, Usyk or Inuoe were caught cheating I would just give up on the sport.

You telling someone else they have an inflated ego is the definition of ironic. Make whatever bs arguments you like, a huge majority know Fury is a joke in spite of his groupies propaganda.

nope, you're dead wrong. a staring match against a forty year old is not better than running the table on the eighties hw division. not even close.

Tysons benefitted from weak competition and is overrated for cultural reasons(IMO he is 5th best HW of his generation) but I do not believe this is accurate. In a resume filled with fluff Spinks, Holmes and Tucker is a very solid core of 3 wins. And you've got a few other nice ones. I don't know if you're rating the performance or the opponent but those are comparable to Furys hypothetical top 3 wins. Right now in reality Otto Wallin is Furys 3rd best opponent. Mikes resume was padded with easy wins. But Furys(right now) is weaker. Tyson might be the 5th best HW of his generation. But that generation has much more respect than this one.

Mike is the shortest HW champ of the modern era while Fury is the tallest. Mike will be graded on a positive curve because what he accomplished he did in spite of his size where with Fury his size might be viewed as the reason he accomplished what he did. Even if he manages to beat everyone they were all smaller and he could rely on his physicality as a crutch. Regardless what you think of the Ngannou fight that fight exposed how reliant Fury is on those advantages.

Also there is no chance he goes 4-0 against Usyk and AJ. If he fought those 2 twice it means he lost 2 of those fights and demanded rematches. If hes 2-0 hes bailing.

I'd rank him just behind Gene Tunney.
