I agree entirely with this. I have gone very large on Wladimir by ko/tko at 11/10.

12 months might be a long time on a champion who is nearing 40 years of age.

At a certain age some champions decline quite noticeably from one fight to the next. Time catches up with them. It happens.
It may or may not apply to Wlad here, but to dismiss the possibility runs against all our experience of viewing boxing for years and decades.

It's not "nonsense" to consider a fighter's most recent fight as relevant, is it ?

Yes, Jennings is better than given credit for. But maybe Tyson Fury is better than given credit for.
Are you saying you expected Jennings to go 12 rounds with Wlad before the fight ?

That might turn out to be true. Of course he's stepping up a couple of levels here. Saying Wlad batters him is a relatively safe prediction.
But often the challengers that do well or end up causing an upset are the ones who don't have much of a track record.
    Anything could happen.

Yes wlad has gotten up multiple times, he's only been stopped by the ref calling it off. Wlad was put down by far bigger punchers than fury was put down against.

The real question is will fury get up when he's hit by someone with wlads power?
