If Fury beats Usyk would he bother fighting Joshua?

You're still not getting it here, mark.

You're failing to grasp the glaring gap in the logic of your opening post.

Discussing the how's and the why's of the fight results (AJ-Usyk and Foreman-Ali) does not alter the fact that your contention relied mainly on the totally discredited 'triangle theory' of boxing, discredited by the more widely accepted styles-make-fights idea.

By your logic, there would be no need for a George Kambosos - Vasiliy Lomachenko fight. George doesn't' need to beat Loma...he beat Teo who already beat Loma.

    Styles make fights.

I would favour Fury over AJ, and I would cheer for Fury in that fight, but if it doesn't ever happen, we would never know how it would have played out, and the Gypsy King would not have cleaned out the division.

The big gypsy has a gruel-thin resume of world class heavyweights, and if he wants to cement his position in the pantheon of ATG heavies, his case would be greatly enhanced by collecting the third scalp of the big four who top the division in this era.

This last bit is just so ludicrous that it doesn't merit a response.

Exposed compared to the person that beat them or at the higher level duh. AJ is not as advertised, he was billed as some really fantastic super heavy, idiots were even saying he could have beat a prime Mike Tyson etc. He simply isn`t as good as people thought.

It had nothing to do with Usyk`s style, he was simply too experianced, AJ is nowhere near Loma`s level, he fought a bad fight v Lopez who in turn was under par v George, you lose because you`re not good enough or not good enough on the night, AJ fought poorly v Usyk because he hasn`t been schooled properly.

If Fury were to beat Usyk and become undisputed at heavyweight, I think it would add a lot to his legacy to defend those belts at least once. Joshua would be the perfect guy for him to fight; I could definitely see it being Fury’s final fight against AJ, especially if he wins. In reality though, Fury vs Usyk would likely have a rematch clause, meaning Fury would need to beat Usyk twice in a row before challenging AJ.

Mark...NO single fighter is as good as some fans think they are. That includes anyone you like as well. Which is why focusing on what fans say is pointless

Fury is clearly worried about Usyk. I mean he'll tell you himself a CW with their CW attributes who isn't fit to lace Usyk's son's boots gave him his hardest fight. Fury ain't no idiot and he knows damn well that someone as fleet of hand and foot, nimble, skillful, and talented as Usyk can potentially make him look real silly and have him swiping at thin air all night and looking like a big fat slow cumbersome dosser.

Fury has to get his head screwed back on or Joshua and Usyk could both beat him. Usyk is a toss up for an in shape Fury and Joshua gets toyed with.

Well who else is there for him to fight? Fury will want to fight the best, just because AJ lost to Usyk he is going to skip him and fight who? Ortiz's of the world? He will fight AJ and take the pay day. If AJ loses again to Uysk he is still top 5 in the division.

Fury cant beat USyK. He is the first to know It. Fury passed his peak after Wilder 2.

The Ukranian has much more class
    and brain than him.

If there's money to made fighting Joshua, which there is, then Fury has a strong incentive to fight him.
