Let's focus on Usyk. Tyson Fury wants Usyk - but on purse split terms that favor him and not Usyk.

A fight with Chisora 100% makes sense towards that end because Chisora v. Usyk was - against the expectations of most of us - a close and competitive fight. If Fury manages to stop Chisora (and remember that's a feat that Fury has already accomplished) - he's going to be strengthening his negotiating position at the expense of Usyk because Usyk did not stop Chisora.

If AJ beats Usyk, then Fury will got back into "boxing hibernation" (he'll probably do some wrestling-related or MMA-related nonsense) because there will, of course, be a third AJ v. Usyk fight.

Fury’s record is better than the likes of Holmes and Klitschko. It’s not as good as Lennox’s but better than some all time greats so he’s definitely in the conversation for top 15.

If AJ wins then there won’t be a third fight with Usyk.

    Lewis resume:

    Holyfield x 2 - smaller man
    Tyson - shot fighter
Vitali - if not for the cut, Lewis would have lost, he was behind on the cards
Tua - never won a title, much smaller, schooled by Byrd
Mercer - Lewis got a gift decision
Golota - foul pole was a joke of a fighter
Morrison - sick man by that time, had been KOed
    Bruno - fringe contender
Briggs - joke of a fighter
Rahman - clean KO of Lennox, not a great fighter, knocked out by Maskaev
Grant - poor guy never won a big fight
    Akinwande - mediocre fringe contender

    Lennox is terribly overrated

Holmes was a title holder for 7years and had something like 20 defences in that time.

Wlad has the record for the most title defences of the unified championship.

Both men were the best of their era and if you think their eras were weak or not they both beat everyone available (wlad v Vitali the exception) at the time to prove they were the best.

We don’t even know for sure that fury is the best of this era, he has one defence against a noodle legged basketball player and one defence against Dillian Whyte who is a fat plodding pudding but yeah his record is obviously better.

Bro why are you disrespecting Wilder and Whyte? They are both phenomenal fighters and everyone knows that. You wana talk about title defences Wilder had 10 which makes him one of the most dominate heavyweight champions ever. Whyte has been ranked as the WBC’s mandatory contender for years for good reason. He’s beaten the likes of Parker, Povetkin, Chisora and more. They are two solid defences and you should give Fury more respect for those wins.

Lewis could eat a bunch of beef a day while Fury drank ten beers a day...

    Yes, without a doubt.

Fury has been the top guy for a while and undisputed would prove that, aside from fat cocaine Fury, he's been the Man since '15 when he dethroned VK. Lewis getting KO'd by once punch, twice, hurts his greatness massively.

He wants to fight chisora again because he avoids challenges at every opportunity. Another win over Chisora does squat to help his bargaining position against Usyk. It is just an easy fight that Brits will lap up and he can rake in east money. It does nothing for his all time status ( which isn't very high).

I believe Wilford Brimley was the real Santa trying to disguise himself in society the other 364 days of the year. But is now no longer with us. Another victim of reindeer monkeypox the media won't tell you about.
