If Fury keeps to the same diet he`s been on will he shift more weight by the rematch?

Tyson still had lovehandles against Wilder despite fans saying that`s why he could recover from Wilder`s power so well, if he sticks to the diet that helped him lose 10 stone up until the reamatch and trains the same way in the run up to this clash, will he naturally losse more weight? He`s on a healthy diet.

Tyson Fury won't make it past the Christmas dinner. Deontay will finish him off next year. lol.

Yes, he could probably lose another 20lb of fat and add 10lb of muscle really.

Just seen an update on punch stats for this fight on a youtube vid and they state Wilder only landed 36 blows while Fury landed 85!

Thats a great idea because then he will only be 10lbs lighter, still giving him a strength on the inside advantage.

Yes, definitely. He won't ever be a body beautiful, but he could slim down to something approaching his Wlad form. As I said in another thread though, he needs to focus on getting quicker, stronger and sharper first and foremost, and let the weight do what it will.

He did even better on his boar diet though.

Seriously, I didn't think he would get back even remotely to the shape he's in now, and he proved me wrong. It's quite possible he can shed the flab and go back to previous form.

Furys a bit of an enigma weight wise. Regardless of his weight he still appears to be able to move very well....keep his speed etc.

No real harm losing another ten pounds....but the extra weight actually seems to be more of an advantage for him. The textbook would say get another ten pounds off him....won't think it would make much difference with him tbh tho...with fury your better just concentrating on getting fitter/stronger/sharper. The weight will take care of itself.

Wilder, Joshua defo need to regulate their weight. Fury's seems a bit different tho.

He’s been on the keto diet, with that diet as long as there’s fat on the body he’ll continue to trim down. It’s more a matter of how much he wants to lose and I feel 10-14lbs will be optimal for him. He doesn’t rely on power anyway so he’ll be looking to boost speed, agility and endurance

Fury's problem is his sharpness and ability to measure opponents range right now. He still hasn't gotten it fully back yet, he did great against Wilder but at times he switched off and clowned around a little too much. A little more focus and he takes the gold and green belt back to Manchester easily.

Adding muscle depends on the type of physiology your body possesses. Some people can add muscle really quickly and some cannot. Fury's body has probably plateaued in terms of what it is capable of doing now. What he needs is some time off, rest his body, eat well and to reset himself so when he enters camp again his body can re-engage quicker when it comes to training.

He landed 36 punches and had him down twice. So, if he lands more punches, how many times will Fury go down?

Wilder admitted his nerves got to him. Wilder needed a fight like that. I'm among those who think Wilder will start quicker and score a stoppage in the rematch. Especially if Wilder adds another 10 or 15 pounds and Fury comes down another 10 or 15 pounds (which, in Fury's case, is doubtful).

Fury was plenty sharp. Go back and look at his older fights. Even when he was in his mid 20s he wasn't as slick as he was that Saturday night a week or so ago.

Contrary to popular belief, Fury didn't lose 150 pounds and then fight Wilder. He lost the weight, then he started his comeback six months ago.

Fury lost a grand total of TWO POUNDS from his fight with Pianeta in August and his fight with Wilder in December.

Fury was preparing to fight Wilder for six months. He was in the gym all the time. His weight was set for a long time. His mind was focused. It served him well.

But he won't have six months to prepare for the return.

And I think his confidence coming off the first fight will be his downfall, because I think Wilder will start faster, like he did in his return with Stiverne.

When you're getting knocked down a bunch of times in the first round, it's more difficult to continue on than it is when you get knocked down and get up in the last round and there are no more rounds to lose.
