If Fury doesn't win tonight his excuse will be years of not being active and getting fat, was his win over a aged Klitschko who didn't throw a punch a fluke and if he loses against Wilder will he become another Buster Douglas ?

Douglas came out of shape 30lbs+ heavier when he fought Holyfield. He did no training at all.

Fury is coming in shape and prepared to fight Wilder.

Not a valid comparison. Douglas wasn't motivated and was out of shape. Fury is both motivated and in shape.

I'm not talking about weight I'm talking about what people will say about Fury in 20 years if he loses tonight, will they say he just got Lucky against Klitschko ?

At least Douglas defended his title unlike Fury who avoided the Klitschko rematch.

The Klitschko win wasn't that big of an upset. Tyson losing to anyone let alone Buster Douglas was a world shocker. Klitschko wasn't considered unbeatable.

I think even if Fury wins he might as well become another Buster Douglas. Win or lose, he gets his payday. And we know he lacks the discipline to work hard for 10 years to stay in top condition year around. He's lazy and lacks discipline and intelligence.

Fury doesn't strike me as the sort of person who'd avoid anyone. I think fighting Wilder 3 fights in after an almost 3 year layoff shows that.

Buster went down and had a tough fight with Iron Mike.

Fury schooled Wladimir for 12 rounds and made it look easy.

Douglas lost his titles within the squared circle against a decent opponent that puts him above Fury, if Fury regains the title then of course that changes things.

I can't see how that could actually even be suggested. How can you get lucky over 12 rounds in which you take near a grand total of 0 punches and give at least a few each round? Over the long course of 12 rounds, time and time again

While I think Douglas can box very well(prime) Fury would to big for him & is a better boxer.

Well he avoided Wlad Klitschko for the rematch which was signed and promoted with press conferences and all, that's a fact. IMO there's just as high a chance he will avoid a rematch with Deontay.
