for the record, fury does what aj done with ease, aj did it on the verge of panic

 

Fury would have made that version of Ruiz quit. He was absolutely awful and clinically obese. He will get slated in Mexico for that performance.

 

This display was better than Fury v Wallin but not as good as Fury v Wilder, Fury threw and landed more shots against Wilder and was harder to hit, he slips punches, while AJ just moved, AJ can`t slip shots the weay Fury can.

 

Joshua fought for himself, not the fans.

The correct decision to make as it so proved. He tried the opposite at MSG and it went tits up trying to emulate Wilder/Breazeale.

Personally, I thought that tactically, it was Joshua's best performance to date. Signed off to a tee. Done.

 

Lots of people have called what AJ did a boxing masterclass...

 

He would be called boring considering the size disparity. He was called boring for the Vlad fight even though he was facing the most dominant champion in boxing, in his home town

I’m a Joshua fan and I thought it was pretty boring.

All depends what you like but as a kid I got into boxing to watch fights with loads of action, knockdowns, fighters going to war. It’s like any sport. If I’m watching football do I want to watch two attacking sides scoring loads of goals or two defensive teams looking for a 1-0 win? Do I want to watch O’Sullivan and Trump trying to knock in five minute centuries and countless long pots on Dott v Ebdon in an hour long safety battle?

I’m not saying if you prefer the latter that you’re wrong, but I do think you’re in the minority.

 

The term hero to zero springs to mind.

I’m not on social media, but I have seen very little negativity towards Joshua’s performance on this board, certainly not enough to warrant a thread.

 

Hyperbole.Joshua should never be losing to someone like ruiz if he's fully focused imo.He did well but it certainly wasnt a masterclass.
