He ended the dominance of Wlad, in what is perhaps the worst all time heavyweight championship fight of all time, with the least amount of scoring punches. The rematch failed to materialise twice from memory, pretty sure there were some PED issues as well as recreational drug use too.
So he has one legit HOF boxer on his resume who he beat in an odd, stagnant and dull affair... he then has Wilder x3,a guy who has basically held the WBC belt hostage fighting nobodies and selecting mandatory opponents, so as fun as the 3 fights were, they will age badly.
Other than that he has a couple of decent wins over Chisora and basically that's it... hardly the stuff of legend.
Fortunately I don't think rabid fans on ESB will legitimise his legacy with 'what if' talk over opponents he could have but never did face. He might be a head to head monster or even the HW GOAT, but he never dared to be great and will be engendered equally for the fights he could have taken but didn't. This guy isn't a Floyd Mayweather type with a very good resume that could have been much better, Fury's resume is as weak as Wilders if not for one fight. Smoke and mirrors. Fury's resume desperately needs Joshua and Usyk if it's to stand the test of time.

He might beat him every time, but destroy? Come on now

He should stick around, fight AJ/Usyk for undisputed. If he does this and wins he becomes an ATG.
