If Fury retires before he ever fights Usyk does he lose his fantasy H2H match-up ranking?

    Fury proclaims he could beat any HW who ever lived and many of his fans parrot that, "that size that movement" etc. Would anyone take that seriously if he retires before ever fighting Usyk and does this bring him down in peoples fantasy H2H fight rankings?

    No he wouldn't lose it. The only facts that decide a fantasy H2H matchup are things that happen in the ring. It could and will hurt how people thing of him from an ATG point of view.

    Well he would get the Floyd threatment where people will say "Fury would never fight him unless he was sure he could win"
    He may keep his fantasy h2h status but his status and respect as a boxer and a man, he loses.

    I agree with that. In the non-fantasy world of real life he would lose a lot of status and respect.

    If Usyk wins I think Fury will get the Valuev treatment in the history books.
