Let's suppose Fury stops Haye (and I think he will) ...

Where would that place him in the Heavyweight pecking order and what should be his next fight??

    Fury will not stop Haye.

It will be a lot like Haye's fight with Audrey Harrison: Haye will stop him whenever he feels like it.

#3. But Fury's getting brutally KTFO, so we won't have to worry about his ranking afterwards.

Agree - beating DH shouldn't vault Fury to #3.

If he wins at all, he should take winner of TT fight or Wilder.
A win would put him at #5 at best.

I'd have him at #5, behind the brothers, Povetkin and Pulev. But assuming Wlad defeats Povetkin, Fury would be the second in line for the title fight behind Pulev.

If Haye wins, then we have Wlad - Have II on the radar somewhere in the future.

If he "beats" Haye via a questionable points decision, to #5

if he KO's Haye (legal or illegal, as long as Haye is unable to continue), then #3

It would only demonstrate that Haye didn't warrant being in the top 3. Fury would still be outside of the top 5 and get stopped himself shortly thereafter.
