No but he would certainly be a first tier ATG.

The problem is that none of those guys outside of Wlad are great fighters.

Joshua-verdict still out. Probably very good.
    Wilder-Fraud.
    Parker- Verdict still out.
Haye- Very good, two division champion, but not great at heavy.
Povetkin- Very good, but not great. Never quite made it.
Ortiz- Verdict still out. Probably very good but already old and fat.

So he would get a lot of credit for running the gauntlet in a B+ era.

    Ali
    Louis
    Marciano
    Lewis
    Possibly Holyfield

You can make cases for a few others. I would say he would be definately in the top ten.

No, but he would be right up there with the greats if he did that.

The greatest fighter to ever have lived? With those names on his resume? Maybe top 50 atg, but a current top 10 great for sure. tbh, the jury is still out for me. If he loses Fury will be in the same class as Rahman or Douglas, if he wins against Wlad again then he's the real deal, not just another grafter.

I dont rate him that highly nor his win over wlad.soon as wlad fouggt someone he couldnt grab and jab he was doomed, hes terrified of taking punches.however if he beat the people mentioned, who i think all beat him,for people to rate louis' bum a month resume and marciano' poor resume above it would be seriously deluded

You have just gone full re****.

    LOUIS: Max Baer,Sharkey,Walcott,Schmeling,Conn,Lewis,Braddock,

    MARCIANO: Louis,Charles,Walcott,Moore

Fury has to find a plethora of big names before he can be considered in this class.

Those names you listed for louis couldn't hang with most of the hypotheticals for fury. Braddock, baer and conn, come the **** down from fantasy land

Of course yes. Joshua for example is the most jacked boxer to have ever entered a ring, and has a 100% ko percentage. Same for Wilder, who's cosidered extremely athletic and powerful and skilled. Wlad, Joshua and Wilder together are better scalps than anyone other in history can claim.

Fury is not going to be a long running HW champion.

Someone is going to put one on him when he gets lazy or just is complacent.

Because heavyweights were smaller back then. You can only really judge a heavyweight's "greatness" within the context of his own era.
