No one is going to cry my guy it's boxing if Fury wins he gets full credit from me whether I like him or not and my life goes on.

I don't get emotionally involved over boxing but I have my favourite fighters and fighters I dislike like everyone else.

I don't like Fury's antics and I think the whole "being different" personality may of been interesting to watch once, but it has worn thin now and it's no longer funny or entertaining like a long running joke. And the whole circus act with him and his family is a big farce now.

Would I prefer Usyk to win ? Yeah. But if Fury wins is it going to alter my life ? No.

I just hope whoever wins it's a good fight a fair win with no controversy.

 

I don't particularly understand or get the whole 'butthurt' or 'salty tears' thing, like punters are living vicariously through boxers or something? For example, even when Josh Taylor - who lives only about 10 miles down the road and i've followed since before he was a pro - lost to Lopez, sure I was disappointed for Josh, but Lopez fought a great fight on the night and the better man won.

I think a lot of folks root for Usyk just because of how he has gone about his career, lots to admire - but if Fury wins on merit, then fair play to him, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Never understood the whole fanboy investment thing, just seems a bit stupid.

 

I do feel like it's going to be really difficult for the Usyk and Joshua brigade to take, they've spent the best part of 2 years verbally assassinating both Furys career and character at every turn. For Fury to then go on and beat Usyk after such a prolonged campaign is really going to hurt them to a point they would rather search for excuses than give credit.

I think on the other side, us Fury fans have big respect for Usyk, a Fury defeat will hurt but it will closely be followed by giving props to the great Alexander Usyk. No excuses.

 

Everyone needs to set their biases aside

We have an undisputed heavyweight fight.

A proper legit one also. Both a little older than ideal but good enough.

 

2 deserving champions, both deserve the glory. Some people Will sadly still be salty.

 

Whoever wins, I hope its decisive.
But given each of their styles and talent, I think we might be in for a close decision and years worth of complaining about it.
