I will admit I will be down and slightly gutted if the slob wins tomorrow.

Put aside the whole Fury is whats wrong with the sport, and Usyk is whats right with the sport, put aside Furys a disgraceful character and Usyks noble character, ect...

The fact that the undisputed heavyweight boxing champion just beat the second best boxer in the world but arguably lost his previous boxing match to a UFC fighter making his boxing debut would be an absolute embarrassment.

If Usyk can dominate tomorrow, or even better somehow manage to stop Tyson, makes the Ngannou fight less shameful for boxing than if Fury beats Usyk tomorrow.



Anyways... War Usyk, for a myriad of reasons.

 

There will inevitably be tears around here regardless of who wins and loses. That's the ESB way since 2002.

 

The problem is, other than Belly - who FTR I used to be a huge fan of and have followed since his pro debut - being a POS abd thoroughly deserving every ounce of criticism and hate coming his way and only having himself to blame for that

Is that he is a known cheat and dirty fighter

He has ducked Usyk like crazy and has done everything within his power to wriggle out of the fight, a fight which should and would have happened long ago if not for him

And the only reasons he's finally maned up to take the fight now are because he's

Receiving all the money in Saudi to do so

A hugely unfair split in his favour despite only holding one belt to Usyks' three after his own promoter is on record saying long ago that the fight would be easy to make and the split would be 50-50

And knowing that the Saudi billionaire staging the fight is a huge fan of his, openly admits Belly is one of his favourite fighters and he loves him, has openly been cheerleading him, phones him during live press conferences to gush over him and share his excitement about the future plans he has in store for him, and is not only business partners and friends with Belly's promotor but has chosen said promoter along with AJ's promotor to spearhead the Saudi boxing takeover, all of whom are desperate to make the ''biggest fight in boxing history'' between Belly and AJ.

And Belly has already been on the right side of a highly controversial decision over there that most felt he lost

That's what it's taken to finally prise Belly out of the chicken coop. He already holds massive physical advantages over Usyk as it is and it's already an uphill task for Usyk to be able to overcome them and take it out of the judge's hands. However, Belly has essentially been given good reason to believe that the deck will be heavily stacked in his favour and no one can dispute this given all the aforementioned.

Whether it will be or not remains to be seen, and I really hope it will be a level playing field for both and there will be no shady business, but Belly has every reason to believe it will and Usyk has been given good reason to believe it won't

So the chances of Belly winning via hook or crook and not ''fair and square,'' given everything we've seen so far, appear very high whereas the complete reverse appears to be true for Usyk and every single Belly fan on the planet, whether they are man enough to admit it or not, knows this

I don't care how strong their allegiances are to their man, what kind of POS would not want Usyk to receive fair treatment?

And how can anyone dispute it's not remotely unreasonable for any of us Usyk fans or even just neutrals to be concerned he won't be given everything we've seen?

If the roles were reversed the Belly fans would be doing the exact same thing and guess what they'd be 100% right to do so.

Again, I'm going to afford them the benefit of the doubt that they are honourable men and the playing field will be level. However, they're going to have to prove it to me first to convince me it will
