In the first Wilder fight why did it take him until the final 30 seconds to realize that standing his ground was effective? Isn't this the type of adjustment that elite boxers make within a round or 2?
Maybe because Fury wasn't aware that he'd be able to take Wilder's power yet and that trying to go toe to toe against him would be suicide.
Fury hadn’t been in the ring in over 3 years with a live dog and was on a fitness camp to lose 140lbs. What did you expect of him? You’re brainless. It seems that your IQ is malnourished.
I'll tell you what. There's currently not a single top 10 p4p boxer that would go 12 rounds with a boxer only to discover their weak point in the final 30 seconds.
Because that was the advice from his trainer Ben in the corner as well as the fact he was not 100% as already mentioned which was what Wilder was counting on. However Freddie Roach also in Fury’s corner had been telling Fury to take the fight to Wilder well before the fight but his advice was not heeded. Best thing Fury did was get rid of Ben and go with Sugar .
Because Wilder never gave Fury a reason to need to adjust. Fury was banking rounds without much effort and enjoying himself in the process.
