Khan should give up his own purse if he wants another shot

Doubt it. Any reasonable person would take it. He can live a happy life with that money.

Of course he would take the 3 million for a return fight. The only other fighters who he could get that amount of money with would be Mayweather Jr. or Pacquiao, Garcia's team will do as Al Haymon and GBP say. Danny's father said after the fight that they don't want to fight Khan again but he also stated that the next fight depends on who Haymon and GBP want Danny to fight.

Why? That is all fans and HBO are talking about how exciting the bout was. Even bigger money if they fight in England. I think Max got an erection on how excited he was when he was interviewing Garcia.

He'd be a fool if he turned that kind of money down. Who else is out there that he can get a sure fight with that brings that kind of money to the table.

I don't care what his loudmouthed dad says about no rematch, take the money and see if Khan fights him the same way he did the first time.

Of course, this is all hypothetical, but I can see him making big money if there is a rematch, maybe not $3 million, but a great payday.

Lol, get TKO'd then throw money at your opponent to get rematch. Boxing has turned into a circus in some aspects.

You mean the Maidana that just got ****ed up by Devon Alexander? Yea, okay.

Garcia is a crude boxer, but his boxing is still leagues above that no technique having Argentinian.

Why would HBO pay +3 million for a fight outside of the US? Sky definitely won't foot the bill, Garcia will be moved along slowly, I can see him fighting Judah & then Olesegun (¿spelling?) maybe an eventual fight with Mayweather summer next year

i don't think any of the casual fans paid much attention on this fight. i didn't see any reports on any of the mainstream media.

..and i agree with a previous poster, hbo is not going to put up more than 3 mil for a rematch.

I think Garcia should enjoy and defend his titles a couple of times before thinking about a Khan rematch. Let Khan fight his way up, improve his defence and become a mandatory for Garcia's belts.

Hopefully someone doesn't make the foolish mis step of paying him that amount of money.
