If Garcia moves to Welterweight, does he deserve a Mayweather fight more than Khan?

    Everyone up and arms about how Khan needs to fight mayweather,

    Well Garcia has beaten Morales twice even if he was old and TKOd Khan. Shouldn't Garcia be more deserving of a fight against mayweather in that case? He stated beginning of the year he was ready to move up a division as he has dominated light welter and last two fights have been catch weights close to welterweight.

    He needs a solid win or two at the weight to be noticed first. Mayweather doesn't fight anyone not coming off a major win.

    Not really. The guy lost 2 of his last 3.

    Sure he beat Khan, but he just hasn't looked the same since the war with Matthysse.

    That's the sad reality in Boxing that very few idiotic fans realize this. A fight like this could literally ruin a fighter. While Matthysse recovered fine and continues to impress, Garcia is clearly damaged. It's a similar case with the criminally forgotten great fighter Israel Vasquez. Rafael Marquez came out safe from their fights yet Vasquez was clearly done with. It's disturbingly sad.

    For the people that said Khan deserves a shot over Maidana, yes, Garcia deserves a shot over Khan. In my personal opinion, Khan is more deserving, but neither deserve it much.

    Doubt it happens his window to Floyd is basically closed especially with his eminent retirement.

    Garcia might deserve it more but Khan brings more money. I also think Khan will make for a better fight.

    Mauricio Herrera would deserve the fight more than either. Let's hope Herrera moves up.
