Thanks Ikrasevic. I’ve still got 10 years of his career to go as he comes out of retirement again to fight Tyrell Biggs. But I’m as knackered as Big George at the mo so that’s for another day haha!

Prime Foreman, Comeback Foreman or this mythical continue after Young Foreman will never ever beat Holmes over 15......Holmes has the stamina, chin , grit and last but not least the will to come out on top............not in a million years is Foreman gonna stop Holmes , apples vs apples and he for sure aint out boxing Holmes ever.

So called "prime" Foreman blew out one glass chinned Norton and a Frazier who was steered clear his entire career of dangerous punchers and voila, Frazier met a big wide swing puncher and he crumbled................Frazier was no defense artist because even in his signature wins his face looked like a Moon crater. Fact.

Fought like a complete idiot against a diminished Ali, got stopped.................rolled a fat Frazier who came for a pay check, went life and death with B level at best Lyle, waxed some cannon fodder in a exhibition and got clowned by a feather fisted Young while meeting Jesus.

Foreman fights on and has to sign up with King, no ifs or buts, King ran the Heavy show in the late 70/80's and that means fighting some really tough competition against fighters he has no size advantage anymore plus they can box and can go 15 all day long..........he will loose some and win some, might pick up a ABC trinket and will get a lot of wear and tear in the process..............Witherspoon/Douglas/Smith/Tucker/Bruno/Thomas etc are not going to be a walk over for now a older battle worn Foreman who even in his comeback went near those fighters when they were washed up..............and Tyson puts the beating of a life time on him in 86/87/88

In his comeback Foreman fought nothing but Palookas until a title shot, got used as a Heavy bag vs Holy..........fought Palookas again, voila Title shot, the so called strongest man and hardest puncher that has ever lived cannot get by Glass cannon Tommy Chin...........you guessed it, Palookas again , title shot against a feeble minded glass chinned Ex Light Heavy and after getting beaten from pillar to post he lands the lucky shot in the 13th hour..................now of course Foreman is defending his title against the cream of the crop or deserving contenders,, the strongest man and hardest puncher that has ever lived would only do that............negative, Arum fixes a fight for him against a German Bum of the month who gets robbed, Foreman refuses a re match or fighting ANYBODY worth a lick and gets stripped of all his belts. Fact.

Just wanted to make sure the strongest fighter and the hardest puncher that has ever lived did not deliver in his real life what some rose colored posters want to peddle as some what if Reality..............

 Their's no way you're a real doctor like you claim. You don't know the difference between exhaustion and a heat stroke. Luckily the doctors that treated Foreman were a lot more competent than you.

Regardless if it was or wasn't, you didn't even know Louis was dropped in the first round as per your quote.

Heat stroke and dehydration occur when you’re a guy who has no clue how to pace himself in a 12 round fight.

A three hour flight to Puerto Rico is not a cause of heat stroke or dehydration.

One correction: He dropped a title in order to avoid fighting Tony Tucker (Foreman said so himself). Hence, Seldon beat Tucker to become a champion.

Yeah that's his current alt I believe.

Yeah he discredits Ali, Foreman, Liston, etc and sucks up to guys like Marciano, Moore, and more modern fighters.

This is of course when he's not trolling, and stirring the pot (something he admits to).

...... You realize his trainers used to tell him not to drink waters day before his bouts right? This is something well documented. So his dehydration wasn't because he had "no clue how to pace himself"

He was in much better shape against Peralta going ten despite being much more active and exerting more energy.
Well a flight today from Texas to Puerto Rico is closer to five hours so it likely would've been even longer back then but that's beside the point. His issues stemmed from arriving to Puerto Rico less than 24 hours before the bout not giving him time to acclimatize to the environment.

Oh ****, five hours. He couldn't "acclimatize" himself lol.

If Foreman's dumbass wasn't drinking water, that's on him. He had Gil Clancy. I didn't see Ali and Frazier losing to guys with 10 loses and then talking to Jesus w Clancy in the corner.

Btw Peralta was a 10 rounder against a guy who weighed 190 and George still looked horrible.

Why did Holyfield say (and still say the same thing) that no one hit him as hard as Foreman?

You mean Michael Moorer who beat Holyfield completely legitimately (there was no robbery, and it was Holyfield's second career loss).
Before the fight with Foreman, Michael Moorer was 35-0-0 (including a heavyweight title fight with Holyfield), and then Foreman knocked him out.

I literally said the hours on the flight were besides the point.

Well most think Ali lost to Young as well so I don't see your point.

You were saying Foreman looked terrible by round 6 against Young. He was in much better shape at the 6 round mark against Peralta despite not throwing nearly as many punches.
Also Peralta was 196 and 197 against Foreman not 190.

I see it like this Swag, If A fighter uses the excuses that the climate like Zaire or Puerto Rico affected him, it also had to affect his opponent too. But a smart fighter would get himself used to the climate by training in it, the excuses for Foreman are a joke. Ha Ha.

Ali beat Young and didn't talk to Jesus and retire afterward.

I'll call Peralta a 190 pound fighter if you'll round up a flight from Texas to Puerto Rico to five hours.

Houston is currently 75 degrees with 70% humidity. San Juan is currently 85 degrees with 70% humidity. And guess what? It's before dawn in Houston right now and the temp will be headed to 85.

When you're older, you'll realize how silly you sound for piling on excuses for a guy who's headed down the same path as R Kelly.

Well Foreman didn't actually use this "excuse" and the reason it didn't affect Young was he had time to acclimatize to the environment.

I agree. This is Foreman's fault entirely. I've never said anything different.

TV Lights "created more heat at ringside than in any recent bout except for the Ali-Joe Bugner title match"

    https://www.newspapers.com/clip/109634373/daily-news/

"He later was hospitalized for "heat exhaustion. The TV lights had created more heat at ringside than in any recent bout except for the Ali-Joe Bugner title match in Kuala Lumpur that was seared by the tropical sun."

"Foreman spent an hour in a hospital, treated for exhaustion and heat prostration after their 12-round heavyweight fight " https://www.newspapers.com/clip/109634373/daily-news/

For ****s sake, people here need to actually do some research before dismissing actual hardships as excuses. This is all very easily available and findable information that proves these "excuses" for Foreman weren't excuses at all.

But yeah, I'm sure all the doctors, hospitals, newspaper reporters, were all making excuses for Foreman, while ,one of the worst posters here, who didn't even know Joe Louis was dropped in the first round in his title-winning fight, is our only beacon of truth.

**** me I'm losing my mind.
