That will be an excellent result if it happens.

This guy has never been stopped, never been dropped and to the best of my knowledge never even been rocked.

He is also the European Super Middleweight Champion and ranked #3 by the wbc.

Why do people who have not seen Rebrasse fight think he is a pushover?!?

Am genuinely interested to hear why ...

Groves is a massive favourite, around 1.10 on oddschecker, which could be the reason why.

    I wouldn't use that as a barometer.

That's always the way with British fighters vs foreign opposition of quality.

Tony Thompson was 5/1 to beat David Price in the rematch after he had ALREADY starched him in 2 in their first fight having only ever lost to Klitschko at this point :patsch

    Seems crazy now!

The odds for Ricky Burns in his last fight vs Zlaticanin were crazy for the Serbian. Yet he had Burns down in the 1st and won a lopsided decision.

bar 2014 England are always 4th favourites to win the World Cup once the tournament starts.

you see where I am going with this...

I wouldn't be surprised if Groves is damaged goods from the Froch fights

Groves said the Danny Garcia Ko of Khan was always going to happen and wasn't a lucky shot.
Not true... but it is true regarding his fights with Froch ha

I really hope you're wrong, but I think thats a possibility. I was amazed at the number of people who said George would only benefit from the 2 losses to Froch. He was stopped twice for Gods sake. If he was French and Rebrasse English the press would be pointing positively to the fact that he was coming off 2 losses, and was badly knocked out in his last fight.

I thought George was always going to be stopped in both fights, but was absolutely amazed when he put Carl down in the first one. But much as I like Amir,he wasn't hit by a lucky punch. He hasn't fought Garcia again because lightning sometimes does strike twice.

I didn't like the look of Groves at all in the pre-fight interview, looked like he was trying to convince himself he could still do it.

having said that, he's been out sparring GGG and hasn't let himself get rusty so hopefully he gets straight back on it. He's still one of the best we have.

Groves should win but Rebrasse is decent, I think coming off the back of two defeats and the second a KO this is a solid test.
